Stopped in for lunch after a day at the Children's Museum. Came in with a hungry family of four, and was treated to excellent service for both my wife and I AND our kids. Ordered a mudslide, which was great and we both had the chicken and waffles, which were exceptional. Had a couple of my daughters uneaten french fries and WOW. I have honestly not had fries that good in a very long time. Absolutely recommend.
I attended a luncheon for one of my co-workers, the service was very slow, but the staff was nice. I had the California salad without the craisins; my order was accurate and the salad was pretty good. The restaurant seemed short on staff, as a lot of places are. It took a while to get drinks (water) refilled and I finished my meal before some of the people at my (7 of us) table received their meal. I've been here 4 times and only returned because my co-worker wanted to come here. I'd never come here as a personal choice.
I got the Buffalo wings and she crab soup here. 0/2 for a good crab soup in Norfolk at this place. The chicken wings were decent. Sauce was pretty basic and they were fried well. Whole place looks like it came out of the eighties and hadn't been updated. If you're looking for a good local restaurant with good food is suggest looking elsewhere.
If you have a wheelchair, don’t bother coming in. There is space for you to move but the don’t have tables that you can use safely or with dignity. Also, the bartenders did not pay attention to us and I had to ask several times for my food. I waited an hour after my friend’s food came. Not of a fan of white waitress using a blaccent either
Great vibe and food. Music was a bonus too. Just wish the DJ would had mixed more. Food was okay. The chips and guacamole was excellent. I didn’t care for the bang bang shrimp tacos. Try a Patron strawberry lime margarita. You will only need one - Superb. Overall I’d go back.

Disappointed in the service we received from bartender Brittany F. No greeting. She forgot our drink order, then came back took our order, brought back the drinks and our check. 40 minutes later still here and no food.
HORRIBLE...waited for well over an hour to be seated...asked for a manager, the owner comes out and rudely dismissed our complaint about the wait and tells us he's short staffed due to Covid. It was [email protected]#$s to elbows in this there. They took a paint party with 100 guests and pulled 2 wait staff and 2 bartenders to cover this and left the rest of the restaurant with 2 waites/waitress which took the host/hostess away from the front to help that was constantly left unattended. Finally got seated...order and appetizer that never came out, told by a gentleman who brought out the other guests at my tables entrée 32 minutes prior that he would put my order back in at 11:01pm. At 11:42, I was told the kitchen was closed yet at 12:02am, another table food comes out. They give my friend her ticket and give me a "complimentary sweet tea to go. WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE....EVER!!!
Food was good!When I finally got it ; but services could have been better but understand workforce is limited .. we had a party of 30 and need more server ,but the young fella we had did it with a smile ..I will give it a go again and ?.
