This McDonald’s location is so up and down it’s terrible. Fairly close to home so naturally you would come here instead of driving extra far. Came here on Sunday got stuck in drivethru line for over 30 minutes. It’s a shame that the owners of this franchise can’t get it together. Never again. Portsmouth Blvd here we come!!!
I wish I could give 0 stars . Worst McDonald’s experience. Traveling with my kids at 10:30pm trying to get some happy meals and a coffee . They didn’t have coffee and I asked for a refund and they told me they couldn’t bc I orders through the mobile app.. they were very rude and also forgot the juice boxes for the happy meals . The coffee I ordered was $ 3.19 and I asked for apple pies instead which I should have gotten 4 pies for that price and they only gave me 2 . Terrible service. And the food was Luke warm . Horrible.

To say they have "BAD DESSERT" may be incorrect at least as pertains to ice-cream/shakes as the staff of seemingly "ALL" Portsmouth stores routinely claim the machines to prepare them are out of order even during a promotion such as the limited time SCAMrock☘Shakes?. So if you want ice-cream or shakes McDonald's probably is not for you. this happened to me at 3 Portsmouth, Va. stores on the same day at Airline Blvd, London Blvd and Military Hwy on March 8 2022. So, lazy staff or lazy district management? you decide.
I live a ways from this McDonald's. I bought one thing just a sandwich some how they managed to give me the wrong sandwich. Funny ,wrong sandwich right box.Overall the wrong sandwich was delicious since I had no intentions of driving back to the other side of town.
If I could I would give this place a f"n zero due to tue simple fact that the word service is not where in this places vocabulary. I went to the counter because I had cash and it didnt make sense for me to use the self checkout because I had cash. I told it didnt matter i had to use the self order kiosk and then when in was done I still had to wait for the person who told me to use the kiosk to take my payment. The key to return business is service the better the service the better of a chance I will come back.
Better than most McDonald' for what it's worth. Drive thru Lines move fairly quick, Nothing much else to say.
I haven't visited the lounge only the drive thru which use to be the worst. Since some of the covid restrictions have been loosen. The drive thru is not so bad
We went to one place first but the power was out so we decided to come to McDonald's. We got just enough to hold us until a little later. We got 2 quarter pounders a small fry and a drink. It was a tasty snack.
Order is always wrong and staff is extremely rude. Not the first or second Time this has happened to me. Rather drive the extra 8 mins to go to a different location.
