First time here and I was actually impressed. The pricing of the food is great and the protein size for the price is outstanding.I got the fried calamari appetizer. Their dipping sauce is delicious!The pasta seafood was also super. It had shrimp and scallops in with a fettuccine noodle.The Scallops Smith had so much flavor and was the perfect portion.The meals came with hush puppies and a side. So much food for a VERY reasonable price.I'm looking forward to going back. I just wish this place was on the water with a good view. The food and pricing was fantastic though!
Good service, nice environment. With regards to food hush puppies were phenomenal, calamari was decent, entree not so much. Ordered their "Surf and Turf" New York Strip, topped with crab, most expensive item on their menu at $32, and expected it to be a knock out. While presentation was good, and the steak was perfectly cooked (medium rare), it was probably the most flavorless dish I have ever had. Completely lacked flavor or any type of seasoning. Disappointed to say the least.
We went in around 6:30. Only 4 other tables had customers in them. We order the crab balls, seafood platter, fried green tomatoes. All were very good. My daughter tried the jumbo, she was not a fan. It looked just like a bowl of rice soup. The hushpuppies came out hot and delicious. I'm going to say our waitress was having an off day because she really didn't seem to friendly at the time. Over all we will go back.
I was so ready to experience this restaurant but....I found a long strand of hair in my greens. I ordered crab cakes and there were more shells (not edible) found in them both. I did not come to cause an issue, but I will never dine there. Portions as in side dishes and appetizers were very small. The end of the evening no scallops and it is a seafood restaurant. SMH Its ashame. They did discount my meal but the experience was horrible. All of my excitement was dwindled to zero. Be careful.
We enjoyed our tuna with red peppers and feta. Also had the crab bites and peppered shrimp appetizer. Seafood is very fresh and prices are good.
Nice, quaint, family-owned seafood spot on High Street. Menu prices are affordable and you get quality food, cooked to perfection! My hubby and I tried it for lunch last week and we loved the choices! The complimentary hush puppies, at the start, were bomb!
Customer service was great! Food was okay, crab dip was NOT good at all, wouldn't recommend but would suggest they try a different recipe. The rest of the food was as expected nothing to rave about. Will go again and try something else.
Ordered the broiled sea scallop lunch special. Delicious. Definitely got my moneys worth and I will continue to come back.
Food is Always great !!! Lunch or Dinner (best lunch specials around) and fresh homemade items as well … Prices are very reasonable … Everything we have tried has been really good … Leave room for the Bread pudding or Banana pudding cheesecake !!! 5 out of 5 stars … We Visit as often as possible …
Ommmgggg The food was sooooo tasty and our waitress Danielle was spot on! I had the Cajun catfish and collard green, the catfish was seasoned and fried perfectly. For dessert we had BANANA PUDDING CHEESECAKE and it was amazing!
