Excellent, excellent, excellent place to eat!!! We had the Ranchers pizza, a bottle of reisling, and some garlic knots. The vibe was right up or alley, and the staff were friendly and prompt. We typically don't venture off into Portsmouth, but this was definitely worth the drive. We will surely be back sooner than later. 5 stars.

Best Pizza in Portsmouth for sure. Detroit style is very unique. Crispy not heavy dough crust. Huge amounts of delicious cheese! Give this place a try but keep in mind they're closed Mondays.

Stopped in on a whim when we found out the Smashing Pumpkins show was cancelled and we found ourselves two hours away from home with nothing to do. We were walking to another spot when we saw the pizza threw the window. Stopped us in our tracks and we quickly changed plans to check this place out.And boy, are we glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing. Damn good pizza. Like DAMN GOOD. Get the pepperoni and honey. It doesn’t come with red sauce, but I promise, you don’t need it. Shrimp and grits was also amazing. Little too much grease from the sausage, but a minor annoyance at best. Cooking their sausage and then draining off the fat would be nice but didn’t ruin it.Service was stellar as well. Almost all for the folks we met were super nice folks. Blond lady was a bit snappy at first at the man who sat next to us and one of her co-workers. But that was my only interaction with her, so not gonna let it impact the rating because the rest of staff was superb. (Hunter was great at the bar!)One thing to note if you’re going in. It seems they are still trying to figure out their rhythm. It was pretty evident they were a newer spot and some of their systems need tweaking. It’s little things like everyone using the one check station behind the bar and needing to lay tickets out across the bar when it’s a full bar of guests dining. The bartender doesn’t have much space to work with when mixing drinks. Small liquor selection. The bev station is basically the bar and the walk in closet is behind the bar so everyone is back there behind the bar in the bar tenders way.So be patient. They probably will take some time to figure out their flow and maybe rearrange some things to make it work more efficiently. But the food is well worth the wait while they figure it out!

Stop in as soon as possible! The bartenders are so friendly and really know what they are doing. Drinks were amazing with fresh ingredients. The open concept kitchen gives you a close look at the amazing work they are doing. Ingredients are high quality and it shows. Tim really cares about the masterpieces being produced here. I’m from New Jersey and finding a solid pie down here is tough. Ordered the Rancher and was not disappointed. Sauce Is rich, cheese is clearly fresh, crust is deep and crunchy. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu, will absolutely be back!

Our server, Hunter, was very polite and friendly. We took his advice and tried the pepperoni and honey pizza and some garlic knots. They were both delicious and I'm glad we listened to him. Definitely will dine here again.

As a visitor to the area, the curb appeal is what brought us in. From there, the service was excellent, personal, and fun. We had the garlic knots as an appetizer which was phenomenal, followed by a Margarita pizza. WOW. The pizza was Detroit style, fed 2 of us, and was devoured. The flavors were bursting yet not overcomplicated. I sincerely wish I could bring this place back home with me!

Awesome music at a nice volume, let you converse with your compatriots but loud enough to enjoy when you are sitting alone. very genuine staff, very open and engaging, excellent service. Excellent pizza for the bready Detroit style, and excellent beer on tap. I was very impressed with the “herb and spice” by Virginia beer company. One of the most unique beers I’ve ever had. Almost was like a dessert beer (if that exists?).I picked the Kilauea pizza with pickled pineapple and pickled Serranos. Great flavor with a nice tangy sweet and tangy spicy touch.Wide range of staff and customers. Good atmosphere. And let me be super annoying with my constant bombardment of questions and interest. 5 of 5 straight up! “Hi I’m ****, what’s your name?” Awesome intro to a great spot!

We enjoyed the sun dried tomato salad and the DelMare pizza. Both were delicious. The pizza, with “cheese fence” was amazing. Side of house red sauce was even better! Server was funny and really knew the menu. Highly recommend!

The single best atmosphere on high street. High quality pizza. Great selection of beer (I want with a breakfast stout. The crust of the pizza is arguably the best out of any other pizza joint.

Finally got the chance to check out the newly remodeled pizza joint.Very classy feel with a "raggae and ska music" in the background. We chose to try out their special "meatball/ricotta pizza" (brick cheese, red sauce and basil)OMG.... Phenomenal taste!!! You got try them out!Great Vibe!!! ???
