Located in historic downtown Portsmouth. Worth the visit for the location and venue's authentic feel. The Birria Tacos are pretty decent. The Shredded Beef was cooked well and flavorful. It just felt like something was missing. The kids ate free, which is beyond amazing, on Sunday. Overall, I'll be returning to get something different and hopefully change any misconceptions I had. I look forward to it.
Amazing service! They were fast, polite, and funny, and I’d definitely recommend to come here if you’re in the area. The owner or current manager on the floor came and spoke with us briefly a few times, and was extremely charismatic as well. Overall the experience was great! The food was amazing as well, i ordered the Cali burrito which was delicious and my boyfriend ordered a fajita. The food came out quickly, it was hot and fresh, and it was awesome! This place makes you feel extremely comfortable and welcome, and their indoors and outdoors options are great. Keep up the great work guys!
Just left..and also left the food!! It was bland, the chicken was awful and the tacos were worse. The server was very sweet while providing good service. I didn't complain and I left. Will not return or recommend to anyone. I don't leave reviews but was so disappointed that I felt it necessary to give my personal opinion..

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! 1st my queso was cold, 2nd my drink had no alcohol so we asked for a 1800 margarita, 3rd I ordered 3 tuna tacos & only 1 came out with tuna.... my queso, my drink & my food had to be fixed. If I could leave no stars I would. Get the bill & we are charged $22.00 for a top shelf margarita that comes with patron or don julio & we clearly had a mid shelf margarita. They then charged us $15.00 for a top shelf margarita when clearly 1800 is mid shelf. SMHLike where is the customer service? Also learn your menu & your pricing! I will not be paying for the beers the owners are drinking at the bar.
My absolute favorite Mexican place in town! We visit at least twice a month. Everything we have had has been delicious and their guacamole cannot be beat. Their birra tacos were OUTSTANDING and so are their margaritas. Their mojitos were delicious and so refreshing. Service is always great and so is the atmosphere. I cannot say enough good things about Guads!!!
They had probably the best fajitas I've tried in Hampton Roads, and for lunch it was a very generous portion of steak and veggies. My son also enjoyed his nachos. Chips were warm and fresh with tasty salsa. Service was good. I would definitely go back.
First time eating here. We got the shrimp fajitas,steak fajitas,and barria tacos. Everything was disgusting nothing had any flavor. Very bland no spice to the salsa. The only good thing was the chips and queso blanco dip.
Good atmosphere and drinks
For downtown Mexican, by far the most impressive! Comparable to local restaurant, La Parrilla. Very good food. !Chips and salsa free! #1 salsa in the area.
