I cannot say enough. Awesome food! We were met with a couple very friendly greeters. We got take out on our way to the ball field. My 12yo son said it was the best burger he has ever eaten. My wife said the same. I chose the catfish. It was a good portion and tasted like it was just out of the river, not farm raised or processed. Lightly breaded with just the right amount of crunch. The seasoning of everything was spot on. Especially the fries. You must get the fries. Everything was packaged nicely, not like your typical restaurant. You can see they took great pride in their presentation. A fantastic find that we will definitely visit again. A+.
The burgers were decent in this bistro hidden in a shopping center off Western Branch Blvd. The staff was friendly. However the food is served in paper “to go” boats, the mayo and mustard are in packets, the soda comes in a can. I like pickles on my burgers that cost an extra $.70 for 5 pickles (really!). Our lunch for 2 was $36. There was one serving of banana pudding included in the total. Thankfully I wasn’t charged for a cup of ice.I do believe the experience could be improved with a small effort.
Listennnn!!As a fellow business owner—I believe that customer service is the true foundation of a successful business and chiiiile— not only did the food slap yo momma and ya granny (it was ?)but the customer service was beyond exceptional. Hands down the best!!! From the time we walked in— to the time we left- we were greeted with smiles and pleasant vibes. Thank you— from Ohio.
Coming from a church service, we stopped there to eat. It was my first visit. I ordered fried catfish, and shrimp on grits. You know the saying, “ it’s so good it make you wanna slap your momma.” Well, I could’ve slapped everyone’s mom and dad; the food was just that good! I will return
Location is not visible from the street, and I am happy about that (selfish of me). Feels like my own place to get great juicy tasting hamburgers, crab cakes, AND #%/÷$ GOOD FRIES. Goodness, I don't know what is on those fries, but they seasoned wonderfully. Looking forward to the Sunday Brunch. Pricing is reasonable $$. Ordering online is easy. Place order, they call you, and you pick up. Love it!!!!
This is the best food I've eaten in the 757! We arrived right as they were going on break and the owner let us in. That stuffed turkey burger, OMG, I wish I had room for another one (before & after photos below). My son had the bacon & shrimp cheeseburger, with a side of shrimp. He is a picky eater and he didn't have anything left. He also let us sample a piece of French toast, aka Candy. I don't like French toast, but I'll definitely be back for brunch to get more "candy"!
I had dinner there last Friday with family. The food was outstanding. We had absolutely perfect wings, loaded fries, and the best burger I've had in years. The butter pound cake was delicious too. Friendly service and great music were a plus. We'll definitely be back.
My first time trying Gourmet Bistro Burger and it was good!! My husband and I went for brunch on Sunday and we will be returning. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu!! The only advice is have more experienced waiters. But the staff was really nice!
The food and customer service were excellent. I will definitely stop here again when I am back in town.
Ordered 5 crab cakes not in sandwich form for a birthday party. They were delicious! Great price! $10/each. I ordered it 2 days in advance. Paid for them over the phone but still waited 30 minutes for them when I got there. That's why they only get 4 stars and not 5. But the manager (I believe) gave me a free juice for my wait and apologized profusely. It looked like other people who were picking up their order on time, also had to wait. I would definitely go back. The crab cakes were perfectly crispy on the outside while still juicy and savory. You could pick it up with your hands and eat it! ?? Best crab cakes in Hampton Roads.
