The food was really good and the bartender was very nice and helpful. The place is very chilled and laid back. Here you can eat, play pool, gambling machines, drink and watch games. Here people come to socialize and just have a good time. They play good music from a music jukebox. I was disappointed because, I spent forty-five dollars on the music jukebox to pick and play great songs for the entire evening. The customers loved the music list I was picking and playing from the music jukebox. The music jukebox stop playing the music, you couldn't hear the music in the speakers surrounding the place. The nice bartender tried to help and fix the problem but she started to get slammed at the bar with lots of people.
I used to really love going here. But it seems like they are terribly short staffed now. The cook couldn't seem to get any of our orders right. Our waitress was very sweet and did the best she could. I will go back again. I am just assumed that they do not have enough employees at this time to run the business the way it used to run.
Good prices great environment lots of fun staff is cool ??
The place itself was quaint, but the experience was spoiled by an overly aggressive and rude patron who I understand was a regular.

I wish they had- sign, instead of giving them one rating. I went to Cock Island on a Friday Around 4, had a waitress name Ashley that was very nice and Polite. Until her shift ended at 5. Then a young black lady name Nica took over. I got Hungry and order some food no drinks around 7:08 pm and paid for my order. Which was requested by Nica. For shrimp Fettuccine, which came with a side salad. I went up to the bar around 7:30 and ask was my order ready since no one else was really eating food, only really just drinking in the bar. Nica reply she, so I waited for my food. Nica place the food on the counter in a bag, with just the food Only. No napkins and no silverware, so I asked her, to get me some napkins silverware and more sauce for my fettuccine.Then she just replied okay, I waited about 8 minutes standing there. Nica continued making drinks, so I asked again( ma'am is my sauce ready yet). She replied back first of all your impatient, don't you see I'm making drinks and sauces is 75 cent. I said that is fine, 75 cent is not nothing. So gave her a 20 dollar bill, she put my change on table and walk off. I said to her, if you don't like your job. You should quit, because customer service is not for you. Nica replied ( I like my job, matter of fact I'm going to make sure you don't come back). She turn her back grab the phone and calls the Police on me and started ignoring me, around 7:45. I told her I want to speak to a manger, she keep ignoring ignoring me. So I took pic of the food and business license, and told the lady you can keep, the food. I want my money back and I'm coming back to talk to owner. Nica pop her eyes and said whatever. So I went back to shooting pool around 7:50. At 8:30 pm the K-9 Police came saying I had to leave. She wanted me to leave. I told the officer ok and that I order food and it was dry, I paid for sauce and ask to speak to a manger for the way I was treated, because that was very rude and ghetto for her to tell me. (I was impatient and all I did was reply if you don't like your job you need to quit it, because customer service it's not for you and then she replied, oh I'm going to make sure you don't come back and they call the police on me). I have never been treated like that in customer service in my entire life or waitress to tell me I'm impatient, which is rude! Then get mad at me because I told her, if you don't like your jobs you needs to quit. That does not give nobody the right to call the police on somebody especially when they came rudely to a customer speaking and she didn't like the response. Then I called the owner Dave Clark, which was rude too. He did not offer apology for the way I was treated nor gave me my money back he told me he would call me back the same night and he avoided me. To me that is terrible business no matter what, you're in the business of customer service to please the customer. If your employee had acted unruly it was still opposed to give up apology and look into it he did none of the search and kept my money. Dave Clark did not even tell me the results, he had his girlfriend which is Ashley the bartender call me and tell me that I cannot receive my money back. Because the food was cooked properly, which he would never know, because didn't even know about the incident at hand and he never saw the food I took pictures of. Then told me I cannot come back on the property for 30 days. To me that is horrible customer service and terrible business ethics by the owner and his employee acting as management.

Nice people , great service, loved taco night. Happy to find a local bar, here from South Florida granddaughter in navy having surgery, here for a month, was in the hospital needed to chill out and Ashley was a great bartender Loved this local bar, will be back!
