Location Effingham Street PortsmouthSpent $33.00 on a horrible meal. The corn was so old and soggy not to mention the taste was nasty. The fried okra was scorched and obviously cooked in OLD grease. The Mac-n-cheese was dried out and the mashed potatoes were instant and runny. The chicken and the biscuits were very good but inside the restaurant it was SUPER HOT like no AC. The customer service was great but I will never go back to this plac again ??
The drive through person is always VERY pleasant and patient.Corporate, INVEST IN THIS BUILDING. The parking lot free of trash, however a great power wash and resurface the grounds. Cleanliness brings up a standard.THANX for the great chicken!
The only thing stopping me from giving this a one star review is that Mac & Cheese. For that, 5/5 it was great! Everything else... Let me say, years ago I worked in food service. I know old grease. The chicken and fries REEKED of old grease. We were able to stomach a few tenders but couldn't even bear the fries. They were cold, soggy, and tasted like old cigarettes. The biscuits were OKAY. They were a little hard and cold, but the flavor was there. This was my first time trying out Church's but unfortunately this will be my last time.
Chick was not that great.. However the worker at the drive -thru was wonderful. Also their peach tea was excellent.
Never have any of the things I've wanted each week for 3 weeks and chicken wasn't done cold fries, over cooked pies, no sodas
Chicken was hot and crispy. Seemed more crispier to me. New recipe maybe but it was good. Fries were hot and crispy. This has got to be the best and sweetest iced tea ever.
My food was under cooked and my chicken hadBlood in and the chicken tenders was not fully cooked come on churches I have been enjoyingY'all all my life ?????????
First the food is good, a little greasy but good, the employees are alright, a C+, the day I drove through they were having a disagreement, like all businesses have... But it didn't affect the service "much!" This location has been robbed several times, the property needs a major up keep, windows, weeds, rust, boards, asphalt, its drive thru only... But again, the chicken is good
Without a doubt, this is the worst restaurant in the entire 757! The customer service doesn't exist and they never have want you want to order. It's 8:42 pm and the are closed. Please don't waste your time or energy!!!
Every single time you come, you are told, no tenders or no other chicken and we are not dropping chicken and it's only 6pm on a Friday. Corporate is getting the complaint. I can see once in a while but not EVERY single time
