Nice atmosphere, staff did a great job. It would be nice if your website was updated. My husband kept seeing pizza pics until we were told you don't serve that anymore.
One of many local pubs in Portsmouth, also has a location in suffolk. Tables were full at lunch. One waitress was able to take care of everyone efficiently. My Reuben sandwich was tasty but the fries were a disappointment. I have had a burger in the Suffolk location that was good.
This was actually the best place I went to in Norfolk. It was the only place that didn't over cook the burger and the French fries were fresh cut. The perfect small pub style place to go on lunch break.
Haven't been there in years until Thursday night. The food is always awesome. Especially their burgers and salads. The environment is pleasing. Literally had the best night of my life. The music was beautiful and entertaining. They have some really talented artist that sing and play here. I have to be sure to bring cash to tip them next time. I have to fit this into a routine. The drinks are strong and not too expensive. I paid $12 for a tequila sunrise and a beer for my boyfriend. Just a lot of fun.
Good food and AMAZING drinks. Our bartender Savannah was able to make a drink my wife had here 16 years ago just based off of taste description. She works day shift just ask for the Chunky Monkey.

I orden on the phone a Mexican Pizza and a Chicken grill Pizza at 9:15pm. I was told that the pizzas will be done in 25 min. My couple was at 10:30pm still waiting for the order. And they take out of the menu one options for the pizzas and they have that pizza in the menus online.Train your servers, and if you are a server be responsible and respectful with your job. I really think the person who supposed to take my order over the phone, put the order when we arrive to pick up.Don’t offer a service you are actually unable to provide.

I ordered for pick up….terrible start off with no condiments no forks spoons napkins. Ordered the most expensive meal taste like a $5 dollar meal. The steak taste like charcoal Mac n cheese look like they just threw a slice of cheese on top tried to mix it up no flavor cheese taste at all . Coleslaw taste like they threw beer in it ? throwing everything away going to try restore the steak later by adding seasoning olive oil butter garlic ? geeesh what a waste of my money . Ya live n ya learn …….only good thing to say the fried pickles were good
Really had high hopes. First time visit. Very cool little pub. We were greeted promptly for our drinks, great first impression so far. Ordered an appetizer of she crab soup and our meal at the same time. Hind sight, should have known better than to order this together. The meal came out first. I told the young lady waiting on us that I ordered the soup and would like the appetizer first. She took the meal back and came with the soup. On a positive, the soup is very good. Almost immediately after getting the soup, another served attempted to deliver the meal again. Said I'd prefer to finish my appetizer first and have the meal fresh following. Instead it simple sat on the serving counter in plain view. At this point, I knew things were not good. We finished the soup and a short time later the same meal that was sitting on the counter for 20 minutes was brought to the table. I asked, as if i didn't know, if this was hot or cold. The server's response was that they kept it warm for us. There were no heat lamps on the counter. I simply put the back of my hand on the fries and found them cold. At this time the server announced that she felt it and it was still warm. Then asked what we wanted her to do. I told her that a hot meal would be appreciated. Now she proceeded to tell me that is was my choice to have her take the meal away. The same meal that came before the appetizer. She went on to tell me that they simply can't redo the meal unless I want to pay for both. Before I could make another comment, she said she'll just bring me my check. The check was only for the soup which means they still discarded the meal. Contradictory thought process. At this point the expense to the business is the same. The only difference is that, at this point, it becase apparent that the server was more about spite than customer service. I let it go, and paid cash and only rounding to the next dollar. I'm a heavy tipper when service is good, but this was worse than bad. I left the cash on the table and preceeded to leave. The server, from the table, asked me from across the room if I would like my change. Wow..Had high hopes of finding a little home town pub with good food as I'm new to the area. The food I had was very good but the staff destroyed it. Such a shame.
