The bartender was friendly. However, the food was truly awful. I ordered a side of pico, guacamole, salsa, and 3 Carne Asada tacos with side of rice. One soft corn, 2 hard. The soft corn was not toasted or warmed at all. The meat was very dry and came out cold/warm as if it was heated in the microwave. The rice was way over cooked and was one ball of mush. I literally couldn’t finish because it was just that bad. When I brought the rice to the bartender’s attention, it was passed off as if it was okay and normal. When I told her about the food. All she did was take off the guacamole which I had ordered and it was never brought to begin with. When she offered to have fry’s made in place of the rice . I declined and just asked her to bring me the guacamole that I had ordered. When I received my bill I was charged for everything but the guacamole. Makes no sense, I expressed to her the whole meal was bad and she billed me 25 and some change. Which in my opinion for a completely poor meal was ridiculous. After complaining, she bumped it down to 17. I was honest with the chef about the meat being dry and he just ignored me and shook his head. I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone. This was my first time here, as well as my last.

Great bowls and burritos. The Carne asada is always cooked really well. Quick, friendly service and a pretty decent selection of beers. If you like Tequila they have a really extensive selection. My only complaint is the price. 2 meals and 2 beers cost us $60 for lunch, which is a quite high for Mexican food. Other than that every time we have gone to 619 we have had a good experience.

I love this place. I've been to San Diego and to the bigoted "lady" who called this place "Caucasian tacos" you are the biggest racist I've seen Downtown since they dropped that statue on somebody's head. Get yourself some help and stop taking your despicable hatred out on some of the best tacos I've ever tasted. FIVE STARS ☆☆☆☆☆ and thank you to the entire staff. Sorry you have to deal with such a high level of undeserved, racially charged ignorance for absolutely nothing. We love you and never give up! See you next TACO Tuesday!!!!!!!!!

The WORST Mexican food I’ve ever had. And the nerve of them to call themselves 619. It’s not even San Diego Mexican food. This is pure Caucasian Portsmouth tacos. The inside was cold on all of our food. It’s as if they just put the premade ingredients in and heat up the shell or wrap. -5 out of 100. I would recommend Jessy in Norfolk or Los Burritos in Chesapeake.

Definitely a must go... food is definitely a nice vibe and hits the palate in the best way always come here for the Carne Asada fries.. they give great portions and if you eat it all your definitely full and happy and its all at a great price 10/10 I do recommend..?????

Queso is on POINT! Order the Carne Asade Fries for your first meal, you won't be disappointed!

I love coming to this place because they always have great customer service even when they're extremely busy! The food is always on point and the music fits the atmosphere! My son and I really enjoy coming here for our mother son dates ?

Had a great lunch here. They have an extensive build-your-own menu with burritos, fajitas, tacos & bowls. All fresh ingredients, and quickly made.I had a bowl with ground beef, onions, tomatoes, rice, shrimp, shredded cheese & black beans. So delicious. Katie took good care of us. Definitely going back here!

When I walk in a Mexican restaurant and see no Spanish people I get nervous. I stayed and ordered. Food arrived and I was surprise at how good it looked and it tasted even better. I will be returning
