First time here. I ordered the Lasagna and it was perfect. Service was a little slow and not a lot of attention during an empty lunch. I will definitely go back, maybe next when I can have a cocktail to take my mind off the wait.
Literally the best mozzarella sticks (well they’re triangles here but yeah lol) ever. I also really enjoy the burger 21. Always get great service here as well.
They automatically charge a 20% tip on the bill without notice.
This was a beautiful and fun location to get lunch. We like the decor inside and the food was great as well. Service was great and we were very happy. I totally recommend!
Jeni and I had taken a drive Saturday afternoon after having visiting the grave of our precious Daughter In Love who passed last April. We drove down River Road until it ended up in Petersburg and it was a beautiful afternoon so we decided to get a bite to eat at an outside café we saw. Maria's Old Town 21 Ristorante Italiano was a real treat and surprise. We split an Oysters Rockefeller appetizer and a Grill Chicken with roasted peppers and mushrooms Panini. I can tell you they were both superb, as good as I have ever had of either dish. Just Wow! Enza, Gio and Denya (aka Deny or D) all at times served us. I encourage you to find your way to Petersburg if only to try this place out. We thought it was great and we have done a fair bit of dining over the 40 years of our marriage!
Thos place was on point! Such kind staff, a gentleman sang on the stage and he had a delightful voice. The food was excellent and flavorful. Plenty of space in the restaurant and a fun atmosphere. Restrooms were clean but could have been restocked ( I believe they were low on staff like everywhere else). Definitely a great time and I will be going back over the next few minths that I am in the area. I highly encourage anyone to check it out.
We used to love Maria's and haven't been in awhile but man what a terrible experience we had tonight. Awful service and mediocre food. It took over 20 mins to get our drinks, the bar drinks we ordered were half full. She never asked us if we wanted more drinks, took forever to take our food order. The bill had an automatic 20% gratuity added so then it all made sense. Why try when you know you are getting a big tip. We won't be back. Disappointed!
I loved this place. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning, and the food was delicious!! They have gluten-free pasta and pizza crust, so I was very excited. The staff was very friendly, attention and welcoming.
Our service was excellent! Giovanni does a great job, rare these days to have such outstanding service. Joe sings Sinatra is a must see, he's there the second Friday of every month
