We visited at 6pm on a Thursday. We were seated right away, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was great. :)Our whole party enjoyed the seafood nachos. I had the crab cakes (nothing particularly special, but tasty), and family members had the oysters (heavily breaded, but otherwise good), and the sirloin with grilled shrimp which was "I can't believe I ate it all!" good. ;) The salads and sides were all very good. The toddler heartily approved the fresh bread and mac-n-cheese.The price for what we ordered was absolutely reasonable and the ambiance comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in Petersburg twice on our way to and from our vacation destination. Made it a point to return to Joe's on second trip. Friendly service and great seafood. Hearty portions, too!
The service was great and the food outstanding. We ordered the Dinwiddie shrimp as appetizer it was excellent. For dinner we had Herb salmon and porterhouse steak they were both delicious the steak was the best I have ever had. Tender and flavorful. Mushroom Madeira and baked sweet potatoes were amazing. Ok I think I have run out of adjectives to describe this meal but we were not disappointed.
Amazing quality and portions. Everything was hot , fresh, and delicious.Way better than eating at Subway at the truck stop LOL. If you're parking at the Mapco overnight, come on into this place. You won't be disappointed!
The food is all ways good. Staff are very friendly. They check on me alot. Made sure food was made right and if I need anything. Everytime I am in the area. I eat there.
Let me tell you! The food here was excellent and It was cooked to it's perfection! I had two smothered grilled chicken breasts ... Seasoned broccoli ... Steak fries .. and it came with rolls and a salad. The meat was so tender and it all was delish. Oh .... We had an appetizer ... Grilled chicken nachos ... Which was so amazing and three people could have ate out of it. The appetizers wings etc are plenty. My husband had mashed potatoes .. green beans .. salad .. and boneless fried chicken. We've never seen it so tender and glazed like that. He had like 4 big pieces. I will definitely go back there next time we go near one. Thanks to our waitress for doing an excellent job. She really earned her tips. Friendly atmosphere and very clean!/

The sliced prime rib sandwich is the best sandwich I have ever had in my many years of life. To top it off they make poutine for me ❤️. The staff are wonderful. Strongly recommend!
Will probably never return. Got take out last night. First, they charged my card twice, honest mistake. Then they made me stand there for over 30 minutes because they kept saying they didn't see where they charged me twice even though I was showing them where my bank account had it taken out twice. The manager lady was nice and made a ton of calls trying to fix it. Finally, they just gave me cash and said they would fix it on their end. Ok I understand mistakes happen but now, by the time I got home all our food was cold. My husband's steak was overcooked, my crab cakes were burnt and still had a ton of shell in them. The time before this we went inside to eat and sat there for over an hour with no service and ended up ordering food to go and had the same food issue. Used to be a great place. Not sure what happened.
