They never answer the phone on Friday nights they will take itOff the hook!!!…… and you can’t order a Philly after 6 pm which is weird.., it’s mostly young people in there so I believe they decided what they want to make.
After many years of driving the extra 25 minutes or so to the Holland Road store from Oceanview to avoid this location on Bayview, we decided to give it another go. What a disaster. We sat and listened to the workers joke and laugh and carry on as we waited almost 45 minutes (patiently) for one grub sub and a pizza. While everyone else who ordered after us got their food before us.All of the toppings were somehow all on one side except for a few lone pepperoni and mushrooms. The time it would have taken to rearrange the toppings is minimal. Do better.The grub sub had about 5 slices of super thin meat on it that was barely seasoned and missing the pickles that I asked for twice and was charged for.Because we didn't eat in the restaurant, all of this was found after we got home. Check your food before you go home. And if you walk in to a bunch of young kids behind the counter, beware of what you are spending your money on. ?
A local tradition. Brought my wife from Louisiana and it's now her favorite sandwich shop. We'll be back for sure.
Virginia provides great customer service. Our favorite sandwich is the toasted tuna! The macadamia nut and the chocolate chip cookies are delicious.
No picture this time BUT it's always my go-to place for Subs!! My favorite is a BLT with provolone cheese, onions and hot peppers!
Lainy was the most polite and respectful cashier I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The customer service was definitely a 12 out of 10. Oh, and our subs were awesome too. Definitely recommend eating here if you're in the area.

They have a large variety of both hot and cold subs - even BBQ. Always custom made for you!
I love the sandwiches here. Unfortunately, the service is hit or miss. Trying to call and put in a pickup order sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Some days I call and they answer, some days, like today, I call and someone answers, says "Hi!", and then hangs up. I tried calling again and the phone wasn't answered. This has happened before, so I drove on over and made my order. Again, it is inconsistent and you never know what you will receive. Tonight I got a basic grinder although I asked for a grinder with hot pepper relish and mayo to be added. Oh well. I love the sandwiches better than anyone else's so I will keep coming back knowing that everytime is a gamble.
I tried to gladiator sub; it was delicious. Also, I wish I knew the recipe to their tuna because it is still the best tuna I've ever tasted from ANY restaurant.
