Do it! Place the order! Appetizing Chinese food from a clean restaurant was hard to find until we found Yummy Wok. My boyfriend and I got a few things last weekend: General Tsos chicken w pork friend rice, pepper steak with fried rice, crab Rangoon and wonton soup. When I say everything was excellent, I mean everything! When my boyfriend went to pick it up he said he even saw the cooks cleaning as they cooked. Five stars! We will be back!
Sunday, June 5th: 11:00pm: I was a loyal Kin's Wok (Ghent) customer until 2019, but after eating Yummy Wok at a business event I had to switch over. Personally, the deciding factor was the dumplings, which have always been a cornerstone of my order and are far more flavorful at Yummy Wok. I also prefer their poultry dishes over Kin's Wok. Other than that, the food is comparable between these two restaurants, though Yummy Wok now has better prices as Kin's Wokchas recently (2021) increased their prices. If you're planning on delivery, Yummy Wok seems to have a few more drivers in their line up which helps out with delivery time. I highly suggest you give this family run Chinese Food restaurant a try, it just may become you new favorite spot.
I really loved the food and delivery came in reasonable time so I ordered again but this time waited over 90 min for food. They came 30 min past the delivery time. Not cool. Hence the only 3 stars since I don't feel this is a reasonable wait time. I am a generous tipper because I'm hoping they will be more inclined to be expeditious but appreciate that was wasted money.
get the shrimp w/ garlic sauce u won't be disappointed.. unless we just got luckydumplings went back to the usual dumplings which i like better but the old dumplings weren't bad either.. the old dumplings have more sauce in them while newer ones had less dough and more meat (which isn't bad)rice is good it's not bad sometimes the pork is big and nice and meaty (don't)beef good nice and chewy easy to swallowegg rolls... they used to be soooo much better idk what happened to them but they used to be so good now they're still good but they used to be soooo much better like what happened yummy wok?!?! egg rolls were the bomb until one day we went to order and they tasted different than the usual ones we always came back for.. the egg rolls man.. please change them back to what they were like those egg rolls i miss them :(overall 5/5 cuz of the shrimp w/ garlic sauce that 100% is why i'm coming back.. i hope the eggrolls are back to normal someday
Edit: gave it a second chance. Is so good! Maybe the last time was a fluke.Tried the general TSO and the spicy beef. Both came with nice portions, hot and tasty. Also the service is pretty quick.The last time I was complaining about there being only 6 shrimp in the rice and shrimp. Also the beef tasted funky but not anymore.
Ordered the bourbon chicken w/ fried rice and my boyfriend ordered the boneless spare ribs…delicious! First time trying their food too! 10/10!

This Chinese restaurant is hands down the best in the area. I absolutely love their cooking. It’s always perfect! Great job guys! I had to review because sadly you were closed on Tuesday and I was craving your food. So I decided to try another location. Absolutely terrible ? never again. I’ll just wait for you to open!
You have been gravely misinformed by the people saying this is the best Chinese food in the 757. Rice is mushy. I went for a classic general tso and it was chewy and bland. Egg drop soup tastes like dishwater. This is what happens when the denizens of Ghent are allowed to be part of society. Avoid at all costs. Go literally anywhere else.
