I was just there at the Tidewater Drive location on Sunday looking for a certain Lance snacks white cheddar cheese box that a co-worker gave me the other day. When I was just about to give up, I saw the box that I was looking for. I didn't have enough money to buy it, but I will return to get it on Friday. Despite the location always being crowded, they have some surprisingly low prices.
Great in availability of all products I need it. They truly need to hire more people because it was so crowded with three cashiers. Plus, the lines for self-checkout were extremely long. But, I still loved it!
I wish they had more of a selection when it comes to plus size clothing, granted its WalMart but if you're gonna have it do it right.
It was good didn't have to wait long in the line got out fast
Yesterday, I did my grocery pick-up, nothing wrong with the service except this highly offense fly that came with order... Whomever made the flyer is not properly educated on what Memorial Day is... I have attached a photo so you can see what actually means... In addition, salute to our soldier, is highly offense to the other Branch of the Military... Soldier refers to the army only, this is a mix military town... Memorial day is about the people that have given the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Just reminder you have a memorial for a person that has passed away....that means they're dead and it's in their memory, it's not a barbecue day or grilling day.
I have shopped at this particular location a lot of times. With enough looking you will find everything you need here. But, the store checkout is not as good as when I have first shopped here. The checkout lines have been long almost every time we come here because there are just almost no cashiers. I have had to use self checkout just because of this, which I do not mind doing self checkout. Other places like the Target across the street always have fast and convenient checkout. Overall I would go to the other Norfolk Walmart store on Tidewater it’s a bit better, and I can find stuff more quickly and be able to have a bit faster checkout experience. This store is good only if the other Walmarts don’t have/Target doesn’t have, I’m in the area, or just don’t feel like the other stores.
I brought some Pepperidge Farm Thin and Crispy dark chocolate chip cookies. I haven't eaten them in years but these cookies was soon delicious I love crispy stuff and these was great. I hope they make some with pecans or walnuts added to the crispy dark chocolate chips cookies
This store was great when we moved here almost 3 years ago. Felt safer, easy to navigate. Customer service has really dropped out though and there's rarely carts available because the cart pushers can't be bothered to do the job they're paid for. If you need a cart, get one from a corral walking in or you'll wind up going back out to get one anyway. The cashiers move at a glacial pace until lines are backed halfway into softlines and a manager has to come in and throw a fit.Shelves are usually half stocked and it's clear presentation or ease of access isn't emphasized at this location. Store manager is rude as well. Very frustrating location now. They can't manage to keep self check machines running properly to accepting all payment forms either. They definitely don't set the standard for efficiency. Disappointed to see how this store has gone downhill.
I always love a good Walmart and this is one of them. Great location, convenient to hotels, right off Military Hwy. Friendly and helpful employees as well as lots of covid precautions such as hand sanitizer and masks available throughout the store.
Found everything I needed. Staff was distant and hard to find. Patrons were very friendly and kind. The store was maintaining one door usage and staff that I seen had their masks on.
