Just left here, I was in 25 mins before close. 8:35. I know they close at 9 but never at any tropical smoothie has the “kitchen closed” I feel as if it was a staffing issue or just employees wanting to leave early and not have to do closing stuff after closing. Not great business practices in my opinion, I would have tipped him very well because it’s closer to closing time. I always tip but this time decided not to because truly there was not much service to tip for. Not being a Karen, my smoothie is good and the guy was nice but he already had his drawers counted, receipts done and wouldn’t allow me to order food. ?
This location is by far my favorite Tropical Smoothie out of all of the ones in Norfolk. I don't know why but the smoothies just always seem to taste so much better here in you guys are doing an amazing job so thank you so much!
Smoothies are good and all but I get a bad feeling about one particular person mistreating his coworkers. and the atmosphere is awkward when I come there when he is there. I would keep coming here for smoothies and all but I feel bad for the crew that works under this dude.don't get me wrong. I love the people that work there but it changes when he is there. I'm only saying this because I worked and managed a lot of people and managed group dynamics and I can tell for sure they don't like working with that certain person. Might be something to look into.besides that keep up the work.-James
Website says they open at 6:45am. Their door says they open at 6:30am. It’s 6:51am and they’re closed with nobody in the building. I drove an extra 10 out of my way this morning for a smoothie before my early shift... very disappointing.
Put in an order of two drinks with Stevia products only due to medical reason and they ignored the customization, did not remake my drink once complaint was put in and called me a liar for telling them my drink was wrong. Do not go here. Proof of purchase attached.

My husband and I have been going to this establishment for over 2 years. During our last visit, the employees were talking amongst each other loudly using profanity in front of the customers, then one scolded another on how they were making smoothies and proceeded to have a contest on who could make the best smoothie. Heard the same type of discussion going on in the back where the food is made. Very unprofessional!
Good smoothies, wraps, flatbread and more. Choice of added protein. Good deal on the combo.
The manager was SCREAMING at one of his employees. I don't care what the reason was behind it, it was awful and very unprofessional!
