Taste is great for salads and fresh baked cookies. Definitely pricier than an average salad but the quality is definitely above average. I don’t worry about wilted lettuce or a Caesar salad full of iceberg lettuce, it’s fresh, green, delicious romaine. And if you like croutons theirs are great!
I ordered of the website and paid for extra components in my sandwich and was not given that at all. It was the same amount as a regular sandwich. I don't think it's right to cheat people out of their money.
Great food and definitely great service. Went for lunch and there was a mix-up with my order AJ was so on top of it and so polite, she's definitely someone Taste corporation should be glad to have

First time in Norkfolk. My husband came across this place and I met him here for lunch. So delicious. So fresh! Love the atmosphere and the vibe. Not sure what he ordered but it was divine. Definitely recommend.
Overpriced bland food for soccer moms. Met my wife for lunch, purchased 2 sandwich combos (sandwich, chips and drink) for over $10 each. In comparison, Harris Teeter offers a Boars Head sub, chips and drink for $5. The ambiance is not worth the added cost.
My latest visit to taste was incredible. The staff was so friendly. Kyra, one of the cashiers, even remembered my order from months ago!I had the Virginian - Prosciutto, Turkey, Ham, Banana Peppers, Provolone on top of romaine, topped with a balsamic vinaigrette. The meats were moist and savory. The produce was fresh and crispy. The ciabatta was crunchy on the outside and airy and warm on the inside.The atmosphere was light and friendly, music not too loud, the perfect place to take friends for a relaxing afternoon lunch on the patio.
I was in town for a work meeting and we met here for lunch to start our meeting. There is so much space to spread out though speakers are all over so it's kind of hard to hear others at your table due to the super loud music. The coffee shop side is a bit quieter. The menu is creative. When I got up to order my salad I was told they were out of bowls so it had to be a wrap. I saw someone else with salad on a plate so asked if I could have that but it wasn't an option. I ended up with a chicken salad sandwich which was really good but I really wanted a salad. We ended up back there the next day for take out and i got my salad! It was delicious.
I absolutely love this place. They always have THE BEST season salad dressings. I just wish they sold bottles so I could bring it home. The food is always fresh, delicious and healthy!
I have been to Taste before ... first time at this location. As usual, the food and service was wonderful. I find their salads are always exceptional ... very fresh !!Good job !! ??
