Delicious fresh fish tacos and tuna and homemade chips and salsa. Beautiful little garden outside what a lovely neighborhood gem! Fantastic and charming service.
After 2 visits, I can't say there will be a 3rd. Though the owner and staff are nice, their food prices are NOT reasonable for your dining experience at this location. For example, the indoor space is too small to hold a private conversation, there is always an out-of-tuned guitar player blasting their vocals and the food quality control is not consistent with my previous order. The bar is stocked but the bartender/waitress doesn't seem to know how to make popular mixed drinks. Major changes are needed for me to consider coming back.
Amazing place! It has a beachy dive-bar feel in here. The raw oysters were so fresh and delicious. The oysters are wild-caught from the Eastern Shore - a huge bonus. The service is quick and very friendly. Everyone here cares a lot about the quality of the food and service. This place has a homey feel. I will definitely be back!

We've had dinner here 3 times. The food is outstanding. Fresh, much of it homemade, bursting with flavor. Chef Kathy is a delight. Entire staff is incredible. Great service. Intimate, friendly and did I say...GREAT food. The kind of bar / restaurant every city should have. Oh...and live music by Sound Advice was incedible!
5 out of 5- cute, easy location on the corner lot. Welcoming atmosphere w/ unique decor. Wonderful and personable service and EXCELLENT local seafood! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in Norfolk again!
The friendliest people in Norfolk. We walked in and there was a guy playing a guitar and singing. He wasn't the best guitar player or singer but he was a really nice guy. The owner and our server were great. We both ordered the fish and chips. The fish was sea bass and it was amazing. Our meal was memorable.
The chef was amazing! Wonderful food! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they were out of quite a bit of product because the owner had not come in yet. Also, the chef should not have to cook and serve tables. How he made that wonderful food while doing that is beyond me. Wow! Wonderful place!
