The Sake Sushi Restaurant in Norfolk maybe small, but the food is delicious! It has a clean atmosphere and sushi freshly prepared!
Melt in your mouth tuna! LOVED the tuna in the tekkadon. The cloudy sake and edamame were great with it too. It is worth noting they have a normal amount of salt on the edamame, which I appreciated. And they were very accommodating of allergies.
My 8 yr old love this place. The sushi is great. Definitely worth a trip here.
Fresh sushi made to order! If never been or tried get the lunch box it's $7.95. You get two types of sushi rolled or regular , soup, salad and rice
I have been here many times. I ask for 2 soy sauce and 2 spicy mayo the man said ok. Once my food ready they only gave me 1 soy sauce and one spicy mayo. He said he has to charge me. You charge me when I order my food and paid for it. When the lady there never had problem. Then you want to be nasty about it. I will not be back.
Excellent sushi with quite a few amazing veggie options. Presentation on point!
A great little local place for sushi and sake. Great prices and friendly staff.
Sashimi is fresh and chill which is better than I expected. Sushi is not as good. It's quite warm.Rice can use a bit more vinegar.Spicy tuna roll taste a bit off. It doesn't taste anything like tuna. The orange color is kinda weird too.
Amazing food, and presentation. Was empty on a Saturday. You’d be a fool not to come here. 10/10. We had the friendship roll, salmon lovers, and the dream roll. Nice drink menu as well.
I started going to eat here months ago. My fav is the sweet potato roll. I usually get it 2 rolls and vegetable fried rice. Today I had my 15 year old daughter with me and she wanted to try noddles. Maybe she thought it would taste like Lomein which is her fav but unfortunately neither of us liked the noodles. We told the waiter which was a very rude man who def embarrassed me in front of the others eating there. I planned to just say can I have the rice instead but as soon as I said "we don't like the noodles sir" he said well that's what you asked for didn't you so why shouldn't you pay for it if you asked for it!!!! His energy/aura was very snappy and rude. I said to him, you don't have to be rude sir, I'm a customer. He snatched up all our stuff on the table and quickly brought us the check. Me and my daughter was going to get rice and more sushi to go but I felt so uncomfortable and put on the spot and the cooks and the others dining in was staring at us. Honestly they are never nice and friendly but we are paying customers. They never say you're welcomed when people say thank you. They act as if you said nothing. You never get a smile, or a hello thanks for dining in or have a good day, just nothing but negative energy as if they hate us but the business wouldn't prosper without our money. It's unfortunate that people are so rude but it's probably because the business is their income yet they hate working there. Hopefully I can find sweet potato rolls elsewhere. I will never return where I'm humiliated and don't feel welcomed. High end restaurants have np with swapping out food to please the customer but I was treated like this over a small bowl of noodles and I come in all the time. Never again though!
