I loved this place when it was Oceanview and this was my first time in the new location. Love the old fire house! Same great food and service. Best restaurant in Norfolk.
It's been since prior to thr pandemic and Razzo moving to their W. Little Creek location since I dropped in...but the food is fantastic as always and the converted fire station provides a wonderful aesthetic complimenting a well prepared meal.
Yum! Have been back many times. Great food, good portions. We ordered appetizers, main course, dessert and really liked everything. We've tried several appetizer options, mains such as several of the pastas, salads, and fish dishes, just not the pizza yet and can recommend them as all being good. Nice and friendly staff. They were fairly quick, but food is made to order, so expect that the main might take a little bit. Grab an appetizer and enjoy that yummy bread. They were great about a food allergy, too. However, if you are a rude and rushing type of personality, just go somewhere else. This isn't the place for you. Their atmosphere is meant to be a place to enjoy the food and company. Good wine list, too. Plenty of options price wise, as well, but good quality food and excellent cooking is going to be a bit more, so plan accordingly! Don't forget to be nice to the staff and tip them. And no, I have no affiliation with them, just like this neighborhood restaurant. Outside seating if weather is accommodating.
I have loved Razzo since their old location and family and friends have followed to their new location. If anything it has gotten better. The best thing for me is I have celiac disease (gluten free) and they have always taken care of me. Tonight I got the best tasting Veal Francese gluten free with no problems with the friendliest hostess and waitress. As a business owner myself I knew I needed to let them know how much my friend, son and I enjoyed the meal and will continue to come back as we have for years. Cheers!
The penne was simply beyond description. I wanted to eat it all, but the bowl was bigger that my head, so leftovers were part of the deal! We had 12 and the waitstaff never missed a beat…can’t wait to go back with all of our friends in tow!
Reusing a firehouse and painting over the brass pole should be a crime. In all seriousness this is a decent Italian eatery featuring classics.
On vacation. This came highly recommended. We had a great dinner!! Quaint atmosphere! Alex our waitress recommended the roasted garlic as an appetizer and the chicken parmesan entree. We tried both and it was outstanding!!! Great service and great food; tied into a neat atmosphere. Highly recommend and will be back next time we visit the area.
Being in an old fire station gives this place a great atmosphere. The food was very tasty and the service was good. I would definitely recommend coming here.I have no complaints but for a 5 star I would say they could add a little more attention to food presentation. It wasn’t bad but to me a 5 star means it’s the best of the best and it was really good, not the best of the best.
had the most delicious meal last night. even though the parking looked like there would be a wait, we got right in as a table of 6. awesome service. the portions are huge!! we left with multiple take home boxes. they don't have a kids menu but will totally make your child some butter pasta. a really great family place that gives you good food in a classy atmosphere and you still feel comfortable bringing the kids.
Went for the first time last night and was blown away. The food was amazing! The servers were all so friendly and the atmosphere was super nice. We went around 6p and were able to sit immediately, but a crowd did come in soon after and had to wait a bit. Definitely making this part of date nights in the future.
