I'm updating my review to 2 stars. Twice, recently, I have gone up here before 10pm and I got the "Sorry were closed" message in the speaker box at the drive through. Tonight the message played twice and then someone started talking to take my order ( I was already pulled out to leave). Not sure if they are just trying to close early, but it is definitely annoying when you can't get service during open hours. There was no one up there when I go between 9:30 and 10pm.If they are closed before 10pm they need to update the business hours.
Love Popeyes’, but they need help with how to speed up their drive thru. With the inside still closed, the line should be moving must faster. I wish management would get some training. Orders are being one at a time, and it shouldn’t work that way.
Restaurant does not open as advertised. Door says open and drive thru open at 10:30 am, but at 10:31am I drove up to the drive thru and no one responded for over 8 mins. Then I attempted to open the dine in door at it is still locked at 10:44 am. Wow, this place seems very low staffed as there was only one vehicle in the parking lot when I pulled up at 10:15 am.
Every time I order delivery my food is wrong. I get spicy instead of mild, the wrong sauces, or no sauces at all......small sides instead of large when I add on. It feels like there's absolutely no customer consideration put into the delivery orders. It ruins my meal every time I get the wrong thing, and its never fun having to deal with being itchy after mistakenly biting into a spicy chicken strip when I had ordered mild. Would not recommend this location.
Less than 8 hours ago, I ordered some food from the Popeyes in Norfolk Virginia (the Hampton boulevard location). The employee dealing with my order was polite and my husband and I enjoyed our food (my husband had the three piece chicken tender with mashed potatoes and biscuit while I selected the 8 piece chicken nuggets with honey mustard sauce that was very delish.
Out of chicken breasts, but got extra wings. Didn't get my sauce. There was a long, slow line at the drive-thru. And the price was pretty high. Great blackened chicken tenders tho. And the staff were all very kind.
I have been to this location several times in the last six months, and everytime I find myself met with a terribly long line at the drive through. The quality of the food is good, but tus location needs to look into hiring more staff, or figure out how to expedite getting orders out.
The chicken is good but please beware and remember to count how many pieces of chicken they give you. I ordered a 8 piece chicken box and when I got home there were only 6 pieces inside and they still charged me with the 8 piece price. That's stealing money.
Good Quality, Friendly service, Fresh Chicken
Just seen they had the value boxes back at Popeyes so I decided to go. I don’t eat dark meat so I usually upgrade to two breast (white meat). After getting to the window it was explained to me that they could not do it in the system yet and that I would have to make another choice. After explaining I don’t eat dark meat Marielle went above and beyond to make sure I was accommodated. Thank you marielle and the rest of the Popeyes team. Great training
