One of the few really high-quality places in Norfolk that I wish was closer to back home in NYC. They take their craft seriously, and everything I've had here is delicious and well made. Their sandwich menu is great, and their burger is 100% one of the better burgers I've had. Juicy, thick patties with buttery, warm bun. Throw some of their hot sauce on there for sure (it's not too spicy at all).Don't sleep on their fries either - the sauce and pieces of roasted garlic are to die for. Crisp but more tender and potatoey - they keep some of the skin on there so you know they're real potatoes.

Excellent! My nephew recommended—he and his wife had been several times. The roast beef was excellent! Amazing flavor. Others got the burgers and loved them. We sat outside on picnic table with umbrella. Inside has a lot of personality/charm too. Family-owned and very friendly! Trust me on this one—you’ll love it.
One of my favorite places. We had the Cubano Sandwich today along with THE COUNT for a wonderful late lunch. Simply amazing food.We left with Shawn's English Muffins and Anthony's incredible porkchops ?. I was thoroughly impressed with how the ham ,turkey and cheese came together on THE COUNT with Regular Chef DAVE'S Jalapeños Pepper Jelly. #pendulumfinemeats
Pendulum was absolutely delicious! The meats were so good and they do not skimp on the portions in the sandwich. 10/10 would recommend if you are in the Norfolk area. Great staff as well!
Had the Cuban sandwich with french fries. Both were delicious! Probably the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had; the meat is flavorful and not dried out like most other places. They bread is light and really pairs with the meat, cheese, onion, and pickle perfectly. The fries have that little crisp on the outside and fluffiness on the inside. Fully recommend.
Excellent sandwiches and to-order meat selection, good place to pick up bones and other more niche cuts/parts. Great selection of wines and hard to find beers. One of Norfolk's seriously good gems.
My husband and I ordered here for the first time. I had the shepherd which was delicious. My husband however ordered gone to the birds which says on the menu it's "ground chicken" but what he actually had looked more like a chicken thigh and was not very well seasoned. Also the salad dressing for my salad was a little bitter for my taste.
Always nice and attentive. Delicious food & awesome cuts of meat , this is our to go to for our cold meat cuts. For our antipasto charcuterie. Love all their products they have desserts,bread wine ,jelly, spices & beers.100 % reccomend
