Very expensive $45 to feed 3 people soup and sandwiches off the pick 2 menu. Service was nice. Environment was ok. Restaurant was dirty tables and stuff on the carpets.

always go to Panera on 21st st after I've had a procedure at SNGH or EVMS.Just a good place to wind down afterwards.Good food too. Make sure you tip!

Panera soups are soooo good! Turkey Chili - hearty blend of dark-meat turkey, chickpeas and kidney beans slow cooked in an ancho and pasilla stock with tomatillos, tomatoes, edamame, carrots, cilantro, cumin and lime. Also, the Cream of Chicken with Wild Rice - diced chicken, long grain and wild rice, celery, onion and carrots simmered in chicken stock with cream and select herbs. Compliment with their delicious bagels: Asiago Cheese & Cinnamon Crunch!!!

I ordered a loaf of small sourdough bread on My last visit over the weekend. After being sliced, the attendant took the ends of the loaf & tossed them in the trash, while I said that I wanted them. She appeared to not listen as she didn’t look my way. I wanted the whole loaf of bread. Service has really declined here since Jaime left.

Update: Manager called me shortly after i posted and was very helpful. Will 100% be coming back .I was having problems with the delivery app, and decided to pick up my order. I picked up my order, and my large coffee was only 2/3rds full and my salad didn't have dressing. But, it did seem like they were very busy and possibly overwhelmed today

Meh. First person here this morning after getting an early start. Men's restroom needs cleaning badly. They'll need to hire someone if regular employees refuse to do it. Can't help but wonder what this is doing to the floors in the whole place. There's a kind of a pervasive sour milk smell in the dining room too. I notice it every time I come. And dark roast has lost the ...umph it had when I used to come more often.I know I sound like the old man who sends the soup back at the deli. But someone's gotta do it.On a positive note, the people who take my order are very friendly and bright.

Clean store. Good customer service. Wait was somewhat long for a bagel/cream cheese. Toasted bagel was cold. :(

Garbage customer service. Decent tasting food if you don’t mind getting whatever food they feel like making for you. Paid for add-ons I didn’t even order. Tried to order a create-your-own breakfast sandwich and the cashier didn’t know how to type it in. Asked her manager for help and he told me they don’t have that on the menu. I had to point it out to him. He said he’d start making the sandwich I wanted while she figured out how to type in the order, but he just made me whatever sandwich he felt like making. I ate the sandwich because it was the second place I had tried to get breakfast at (first place said they weren’t serving walk-ins). Didn’t notice until I left that they overcharged me, called back to complain. Spoke to the same manager. He said “I’m really sorry but there’s nothing I can do.” I demanded a refund. He processed the refund and then told me he would make sure he addressed the issue with the cashier. THE CASHIER WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. I told him he needs to learn his menu and how to train before he starts reprimanding employees who ask for his help. I’m tired of every restaurant in this area making excuses for terrible service.

Parking is not the best, but it's Norfolk. The location is still a good store and all that you what, and expect from Panera.

Delicious seasonal soup! Uh oh- they forgot to add the chicken in my Asian chicken salad!
