I love Our Peoples! Born and raised in OceanView so I love that they put their location out here. The customer service is excellent and so is the food. Their new location is so beautiful as well. The atmosphere is always welcoming. They also take necessary precautions when it comes to having a safe and clean environment especially during this time of covid. I highly recommend!!
Everything I’ve tried here has been excellent. Highly recommend any of the pastas and the shrimp and chicken quesadillas. Service is always great and fast.
The vibe in this place was totally off !!! The food was ok just a high end fish and chip spot!! Nothing soul food about it ! I’ve never been to a place where I have to step to the side view the menu then pay for my food before being seated !!The music on the tv was so loud I felt like I was screaming to have a conversation with the people beside me ! The staff was not very friendly at all ! Don’t ask for a photo op she says oh I don’t do pictures!!! Lmmfao you should get a better personality!!!Where is the soul food didn’t see anything considered SOUL FOOD on the menu…. !!??? Won’t be going back !
I ordered the smothered pork chops with collard greens, yams and Mac n cheese. It was good and I was able to save some to eat the next day. I wanted to get the shrimp pasta but they said the pasta meals didn't start until 1:30p. I don't know why but least I know for next time. Also if you order when you get there you will have to wait 20 min, so it's best if you order online or call ahead of time for your order. I didn't see anyone sitting inside so I'm assuming there's no dine-in right now due to covid restrictions. But I would definitely order there again.
The food looked absolutely delicious. I got the broccoli shrimp and chicken with lobster sauce over penne noodles. However i wasn’t able to eat my food without wanting to go home and add seasoning.. The sauce and noodles were extremely bland/tasteless. Maybe just a bad day but the shrimp and chicken were 100% seasoned. Customer service can be way better
This place has an amazing menu and it's worth EVERY PENNY. I got the boneless chicken breast and the chicken, shrimp, broccoli, and beef sausage with lobster Alfredo over penne. It was AMAZE BALLS as I like to say ?. My only gripe is that I wish they served the pasta earlier. I know it's different for every cook there but I wish it was MENU ready like everything else.
FOOD.. AMAZING!SERVICE... AMAZING!CLEANLINESS... SPOTLESS!I can't say enough amazing things about this restaurant! I'm greeted with a smile every time I stop pass to grab a bite to eat! My favorite is the Cajun Pasta! The chef gets it right every time! I can't wait to visit while down at the beach this summer with the kiddos! Definitely a family oriented establishment! Thanks again for the amazing food! I'll be back again!
The food is good 8/10. Menu Selection 5/10. Food portion 6/10. Customer service 5/10. Restaurant hours 3/10. I understand that this is a small family owned business and they are trying to do the best that they can and I hope the best for them being a black owned business. I just hope that this establishment adheres to customers critiques. This place has potential to be great.
I am an Our Peoples Soulful Seafood regular and I can emphatically say that they have never disappointed! I’m an avid foodie who enjoys full-flavored, well prepared, with great presentation food. Our Peoples serves all of the above plus some. My favorites are literally ALL of the Pastas, the Salmon Philly cheesesteak, Shotyme Shrimp and Grits, Chipotle Salmon Burger, Shoop Park Seafood Platter, Boneless Chicken Breast Sandwich, Crabcake Shrimp and Lobster BLT, and Seafood Fries to name just a few! I am always impressed and made to feel appreciated by the greeters and staff. They always deliver consummate professionalism and stellar customer service. It is the little details that keep people talking about you and recall your restaurant's excellent service. I will continue to patronize and recommend Our Peoples Soulful Seafood to everyone looking for an all around pleasing dining experience. The community supports you!!! This place is like a drug, and I'm definitely addicted. I visit at least once a week and I'm honestly about to make it twice. Highly recommend the salmon cheese steak
