Amazing!! Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Hampton Roads!! I have had the Salmon, the Cajun pasta, and the blackened ribeye the Cajun pasta is my favorite!! I can’t get away from ordering it but all of the dishes here are amazing I have been to New Orleans several times and this is definitely the closest you will get to New Orleans food in the 757! Oh and the drinks are amazing too!! If your not into drinks get the virgin hurricane it’s amazing! Both with alcohol and without alcohol!! Oh and let me not forget about the ambiance it’s beautiful here perfect for date night, girls night, mommy night out alone I’ve done all 3! I LOVE this place!! ❤️
There lots of seafood restaurants in the greater Norfolk area (many are very good) but if you're looking for NOLA-style cuisine, look no further than Norfolk Seafood Company - best cajun seafood in this area. This is a white linen, sit-down restaurant (occassionally with live music) so their prices reflect this up-scale experience. They have a full bar and reasonable wine selection to complement their exquisite cuisine. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and provide perfect service.
Went here twice on my trip down to Norfolk (my co-worker really liked the frog legs). I personally thought the place was kind of expensive for the quality of food. The she crab soup was not good and would not recommend. Another downside is the manager was very rude, our group was maybe only half meeting their "dress code" but she looked upset we wanted to eat there even though there wasn't another soul in sight on a Thursday night.
10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! My family and I arrived for a birthday celebration and the service was extremely poor. The environment is nice but the food is not great and nor is the management. The manager is extremely rude despite the unpleasant experience. There is zero happy medium for the food, it’s either overcooked or undercooked. They have a “no take back” policy and regardless of your feelings the bill will not be compensated. The poor server we had was trying his hardest to accommodate everyone despite the circumstances and I admired his tenacity but unfortunately it did not out weigh the total experience. The plating was nice but not enough to rest aside the taste and poor service. Take your money else where!

The food was good and the service was nice. We enjoyed every appetizer (crab dip, crab beignets, frog legs and gator bites). The portion sizes were large enough for leftovers.

Absolutely delicious!!!! I loved the entire experience here from the very friendly hostess, to the extremely knowledgeable waiter his wine selections were amazing and paired well with each dish. The crab claws fantastic. The chef was very accommodating even made a few adjustments due to my dietary restrictions
Wonderful night out for three. We started with fried shrimp and 18 oysters on the half shell. Fried seafood platter, shrimp & scallops with cheese grits, and etoufee were FRESH and delicious. Key lime pie and 6 glasses of Sav Blanc & Pinot Noir complete the tab. $249 plus tip. Wonderful night!
Stopped in here after another restaurant messed up our reservations. Unfortunately Big Easy was booked but allowed our large party to sit at the bar in hopes that a table would come available. The new bartender Nina held it down! She was awesome. Quick with the drinks and suggestions on what dishes would suit our preferences. I wish I’d gotten the managers name because she was amazing and transparent with the expectations about getting a table. We ended up eating at the bar and the food was fantastic. I wanted everyone’s food, not just my own. I know we were a little loud but that never changed their level of service. I can’t wait to bring my husband back for a quieter experience at a table. All in all, they definitely aided in turning a bad situation into a great dining out experience and finding my new favorite spot!
