Less than 24 hours ago, I luckily obtained the chance to order a large style deluxe pizza (pepperoni sausage bell peppers mushrooms) and garlic knots from the Norfolk Virginia location of New York Pizzeria via delivery and ordering directly online from the online restaurant website for my husband and I (the delivery driver who delivered my food was polite/had a pleasant demeanor and they delivered the food within a reasonable timeframe). The food was delish and because of the generous size I still have leftover pizza and garlic knots to eat today andor tomorrow.
Fast service. Associate asked for my Name and brought out my order. Pizza is true ny Style pizza. Foldable and tastes great!!
I got Philly cheesesteak subs from this restaurant. They were the most delicious subs ever I had eaten in Hampton Roads!! This reminded me of eating those subs in Philly! I strongly recommend you to get those Philly cheesesteak subs from this restaurant as soon as possible.
Excellent pizza. Garlic knots are a delightful treat. I look forward to trying the stromboli. Also have gyros and salads. Easy ordering on the Slice app. We tip generously. Time estimates are honest and accurate. Do not hesitate to order the $15 minimum -- you'll be thankful for the leftovers!
First time trying today. Ordered a large pepperoni. Really good. Crust is crispy. Sauce was not too much and tasty.Had a small issue and they took care of it right away. Definitely will order again and try some of the other items on the menu!
2nd time ordering and WILL NOT order again. Gave them a second chance after the first time I wasn’t very satisfied and guess what should've went to a completely different pizzeria near me. I ask everytime for extra sauce on the side because who wants plain noodles with their spaghetti I like a lot of sauce and I don’t mind paying for extra sauce. The first time I ordered I asked for extra sauce on the side wasnt there. this time I just asked for extra sauce in general. Apparently the cook answered the phone and wanted to argue he put extra sauce on top and on the bottom. I’m not sure where sauce would have went from that store to my house which is not even a mile away. It was very rude of him arguing with me over this and here’s my pictures to prove there is CLEARLY no extra sauce just some bland a$$ noodles. Clearly fits his bland a$$ attitude. WILL NEVER order from here again due to the lack of customer service and accountability and will gladly go to other pizzerias where a dinner is even complete with a salad and taste so much better than this
Finding good pizza south of the Mason-Dixon is no easy task. But after scouring for 3 years, I've finally found it here! The ingredients are fresh & it's not all greazy when it comes out of the oven. I polished off a medium all by myself. It was so great I just kept eating! It's so nice having a touch of Yankee-land in the neighborhood. I implore anybody that reads this: order from or eat at New York Pizzeria!!
Ordered for the first time tonight. Awesome pizza ! Finally a real pizza shop rite here in ocean view. Delivery was 30 minutes early too!
Worst pizza I've ever had. There was absolutely no sauce on the pizza I could see. The pizza was so slimy the toppings slid off. Now onto the garlic knots they were burnt, dried out and the olive oil they used tasted awful. And lastly the toasted ravioli was filled with dried out cheese. I love to support small business but I should have just went across the street to 711 for a pizza that's edible.
Authentic NYC style pies and slices. Friendly and fast service. Definately going to try other items soon!
