I will not a leave a star to these guys. We ordered biryani and it taste like a rice mixed with masala, chicken pieces.Karara Murag is like boiled chicken mixed with chili sauce and onionsPokara is too salty. Not Worth Dining with the money you spent…!!!

Okay.. so first of all their bread was very good. And their manager helped out a guest who didn't like their food. That's why they aren't getting one star. When paying this much for a meal it better be prepared properly. We payed almost 100 dollars for two people. I got a lamb fillet that looked promising. When I got it, the lamb, which was $20 was chewy, tasteless, and hard to cut through. For $20 a plate that was outrageous. I also ordered a drink. I asked if they had rum, the lady said yes, I asked if they had coke, the lady said yes, but then she said they can't make a rum and coke .. what? You have a bar here how can you not make a rum and coke. Maybe I should have just ordered both for $15 dollars and mixed it myself. Over all. I would have paid 20 dollars for the entire meal and not had one complaint. But they charge too much for over cooked meat. Could have been more full, been happier, and spent less money, at a McDonald's.

First of all I have been to Indian restaurant before and had a lovely time and experience unfortunately I just came back to it and we went here for the first time. never heard of this place until recently but they had a lot Of starts so I decided to try it with my man didn’t realize I would be completely disappointed and had Indian ruined for me. The waiter didn’t speak English that well and when we got our order they didn’t really tell us which food was ours so we had to call someone aside when they were passing by and ask them. This place also said buffet and I didn’t see no buffet and they didn’t mention anything nor did they have all you can eat like they said. I just ended up paying almost 100$ for both of our meals and it was trash. I ordered medium and I got SPICY instead of medium hot as well and the waiter didn’t come by often or stop to ask if everything was alright or nothing like that. Overall bad customer service and bad experience very over priced not worth going.

The food is good. However, the customer service was subpar. I asked for cup containers for my meals with lots of sauce. The lady owner/server (the one with glasses) told me that I can only get boxes and she only gave me three boxes for the six meals I ordered. On the way out, I saw another customer going home with cup containers. The meal in the picture was how my meals got mixed up because the lady owner was too cheap to give me cup containers despite charging extravagant prices for the food.

If you need your Indian food fix, do yourself a favor and go to Nawab! The staff is great, there is a nice ambiance, and most importantly, the food is off the charts. We got Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken Tikka, Kachumber salad, and of course, Garlic Naan Bread. Everything exceeded expectation and we expected a lot! I'm already craving it and we just ate there for lunch today! If you don't already love Indian food, Nawab will have you hooked as soon as you try their food!

Fantastic service with the BEST Indian food around. My husband is from the area. EVERY time we are in the Norfolk visiting, we drag the entire family to Nawab. They willingly come along of course. We enjoy consistently delicious food each and every time. Thank you Nawab for always satisfying our Indian Food palates!

I enjoyed every bite of my lamb vindaloo and my chicken tikka marsala. Mop it all up with delightful garlic naan and you have feasted like a king.

Goat meat not cooked properly and definitely least favorite chicken biryani I ever had in my life.

They are the only nearby restaurant so had no choice but to get take out and we hoped for good food. We were on our way to another town and stayed over. The fish shrimp curry was OK but biryani wasn’t biryani at all. It looks like they took left over rice and cooked with left over chicken curry. It wasn’t cooked well and was so salty and oily. The barbecue was ok compared to other two dishes. They would not provide any utensils or plates and then reluctantly gave us some spoons and forks. Unfortunately it appears that they are serving old stale food as nothing seems like cooked fresh except naan and barbecue chicken. As a Pakistani/Indian, I rate this place poor.

Military mall area needs to be completely renovated. What a horrible area. That being said, this place was a real hole in the wall spot. Delicious Indian food. Would totally come back.
