DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! First off, I was rudely stared down by one of the male employees that going to the back with a pot in his hand. Looked at me like I did something to him personally, and I did not appreciate it! And my order wasn’t taken correctly by the girl who served me, and the attitude that was given to me by the cashier was unacceptable! And the food wasn’t even all that great, and they didn’t have any plantains when I asked. What Caribbean restaurant doesn’t have plantains to serve? I should’ve just stuck with my first mind going to Island Jerk Hut in Chesapeake. Bad food and bad customer service, I will NEVER return to this restaurant again! I wouldn’t even recommend my worst enemy to come here. Just a disgrace!
phenomenal. service outstanding food is good as any that I have had in the Caribbean I've been to 12 Islands down there. portions for the price exceptional. great deals on lunch specials ??
I haven't been to this restaurant in the while so I was craving macaroni cheese and cabbage. Now. Now this restaurant is very popular so if you're going for lunch just be aware the line will be long.. The macaroni cheese was OK and the cabbage was OK. I remember a few years back that their food was very very good but for me the kind of fell off.
Jerked chicken is really good. The sauce is spicy. Stewed chicken is very tasty also. Cornbread is nice. This place has good food. Must true. Great outside your comfort zone.
they would go much faster if they get that old man off the register. need someone that can multi task at that spot. y am i waiting 30 minutes for food thats cooked already
Yoooo. not even from here. I’m on a work contract in the city of Va beach. I was missing home on some real talk. G R E A T location!Customer service was cordial the young queens understand the assignment when the store is busy.The F O O D!!! 5 Stars and for being black owned it’s a double inspiration to see as a young black man.I ordered the Jerk Chicken large with yams and collard greens!!!!Thank you for your hospitality and a wonderful meal. I will be back
This place right here is awesome. It has been 5 long years since I have had their food since moving to Florida. I tried to buy EVERYTHING! I love their food and you must get jerk chicken, curry goat OMG ? it is so dag on good. Everything was great you must go there you will not be disappointed. Bye for now but Rita will be back for sure to eat again. Thank you??
5 stars for the grocery section. I like the meat, drinks and seasoning selection. It has become one of my go to spots.
Had the Chicken dinner with yellow rice rich in gravy, green bean side. Chicken was soft and tender. Gravy was rich and delicious. Very good. Worth it with the price.
They have the BEST white meat jerk chicken. I tried the brownstew chicken for the first time, and that was delicious too. Cabbage and carrots, as well as the rice and peas, I could eat for days. They need to get the buffet going back on!
