Great spot! Smoked wings with the homemade bbq sauce is worth the drive whenever I’m in the Norfolk area!!
I’m town in business and chose to stop by this establishment. Customer service was good however the first sign of awry should have been there were no cars in the parking lot. 1. The gentleman handles food with no gloves even though he did wash his hands 2. He served us potato salad from a Sam’s club (member marks) container 3. The coleslaw came from a container and had a pinkish orange color to it 3. He took the ribs out of the fridge which were wrapped in aluminum foil and placed the ribs in the microwave with no shame in his game! Pulled pork is obviously store brought as it’s so finely chopped it appears minced.Moral of the story save your money and grab some authentic smoked for hours bbq.
This is one of those hole-in-the-wall kind of places. Good pork bbq, home made sauce. Great conversation with the proprietor.
We have been wanting to stop by here for a long time and today we finally decided to try it out. It is a little cozy BBQ joint filled with Pig decor, bar stools, or table seating. We had to try the BBQ sandwiches. The two homemade sauces were awesome and paried perfectly with the coleslaw. I liked the more tomatoie one the best. The owner is a very nice and friendly man. The service was great and fast. If you have not been here yet, add it to your must-try list ?
Its a wonderful little place the bbq is excellent the pie and tea his wife makes are as well. 100% recommended for a nice quiet lunch with picnic vibes and awsome food
The chicken wings were great and the sliced BBQ sandwich was so tender. Great food.
The ribs were soggy, the Cole slaw was warm, the potato salad tasted like it had been sitting at room temperature. The only good part was the Cheese sticks.
Local spot, first time in for lunch bbq sandwhich was large and tasty. Side of beans were good also.
Went there yesterday. Walked in. Nobody greeted me. Ordered a half of slab of ribs. They guy took the ribs out of the fridge wrapped in aluminum foil and put them in a microwave. He started 2 cut the ribs. HE NEVER WASHED HIS HANDS. SO GROSS. I LEFT AND DID NOT PAY. Will not return
Great service and food staff is very friendly and down to earth people love it
