Good food and great service. In the winter the menu is limited. However, there is something on there that will fit everyone's taste. Great view of the Japanese Garden from the outdoor seating area as well as the indoor seating area. There is a discount for garden members.
I adore NBG! Every time I visit I discover a new plant! I will never stop taking pictures of the flowers here! specially of the begonias!??? . On Sunday I love to walk with my dachshund!

I had the vegetable soup and a 1/2 sandwich while my husband had a full sandwich and chips. Portions were great. Loved the outside patio. Positive dining experience while enjoying the gardens.
So if you are visiting Norfolk Botantical Gardens, this is the only option for food besides the vending machines and water fountains thru out the park. You will need admission to the gardens in order to eat here. This is a counter cafe service restaurant. If you have the Gardens membership you will receive a 10% discount. It is pricey but the quality and portions are substantial. I love getting the fresh lemonade with a strawberry puree, delightful during the warm months. The sandwiches and Flatbread pizza have also been a hit for me. Fresh and handmade to order. There are also ready made options for grab and go, like salads and desserts. The staff has always been fast and friendly here. There is plenty of seating inside or outside.
