Nice location, nice interior. Food was great for that type of place. Only downsides : the indoor air conditioned temperature was very very cold (while outside was perfectly fresh in the evening) like if climate change or need to save on energy was something that does not exist at all. The drink menu did not feature any prices too which can be (a bit) confusing. Otherwise it is a place i would recommend.

The view and outdoor seating at this restaurant are great. The food is good too, especially the fried pickles!
Nachos were kind of chaos. 1/3 eat with a spoon/fork, 1/3 with chips, the rest wastage. Price per value I would say isn't the worst, but am sure there is better locally. I understand construction ruins the vibe, but when I asked whats on tap, the waiter says "look at the taps" (when by back is facing the taps). Lunch was nearly 2 hours long, from arrival to change from bill. 3/5 decent food, 4/5 location (aside from construction) to find your way there. Service was low.
Had burger one time and crab cake the second- both were excellent. Service was also excellent. (The crab cakes have a lot of crab and taste like crab- imagine that!) Only reason I didn't give 5 checks was because of the terrible construction that is not the restaurant's fault and will come to pass.
Absolutely wonderful, despite the current parking lot construction. We ate outside overlooking the harbor. We were greeted kindly and seated. Joe our waitress was terrific! The food was delicious! The menu selection had a great variety, from burgers and wings to shrimp and mahi-mahi tacos, and more. The service, the atmosphere, and the food was all 5 star+. I highly recommend Longboards.
My daughter and I have ordered take out twice over the last year while I was visiting. Spending $100 each dinner take out. We’ve had no complaints! Today I enjoyed the indoor decor and fish tacos with a friend for a late 2 pm lunch. Mahi-mahi tacos delicious. Plenty of BIG fish chunks and the beans and rice unlike any other!!! Wow. Delicious slightly Spicy Bloody Mary Is a $5 special on Sunday’s.And no automatic gratuity added. I hate that about restaurants now. Don’t dictate how I spend my money. I’m a former server hostess assistant manager and GM.
I ordered blacked Mahi Mahi Tacos which tasted good, but I ended up with Scombroid Toxic Poisoning! Obviously the fish was not fresh and contaminated. I became very ill and had to seek medical attention. It could have turned out a lot worse. I did call the the restaurant manager and she was very apologetic and was going to have the kitchen pull any other Mahi that may be left over. She was also going to alert the owner to alert the distributor. I guess I was a little surprised that there was no offer to compensate out meal or at least my $40 co-pay at the emergency walk-in.
The French Dip is so good! One of the best I've had from anywhere.
