Best Jamaican food I’ve had! Plus owner is pleasant and professional!
This establishment is "anemic". The pics pisted were taken during peak dinner hours. The restaurant was nearly vacant ( 1st clue).They have ONE word document type paper menu on the counter. Half of the items listed on the menu were not being served. The service is inattentive ( no staff to greet; person at counter is also prepping food). I didn't care to spend any money here & would not recommend any friends to try them out. It's unfortunate but there are food trucks that do better.

I gave this place one star only because I couldn't post 0 Stars. This is the worst experience I ever had in any restaurant, I ordered a curry chicken & waited about 25 minutes. I didn't mind the wait because I thought the food was still being cooked. Nothing could be further from the truth, they took some 2 day old watered down food from the fridge & warmed it up in the microwave including the rice & peas. I asked for some more gravy on the rice & the server snickered, She came out 5 minutes later with a little ketchup container of gravy & I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Now I know why she snickered, she probably told the cooks in the back that the rice was too dry & I was going to complain. You can tell the rice & peas was put in the microwave because some parts was cold and some parts were warm. I took it home & found out what I had just bought, after a couple of bites, I gave the food to the stray cats in the neighborhood. I doubt they enjoyed it. People stay away from this place by all means, it is Straight Trash. I give this place 0 Stars but they deserve a minus.
Great food. Already devoured the jerk chicken cabbage and white rice with jerk sauce. I think there food is better than mp's jamacian food the restaurant down the street but that is my opinion. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.
This is my first time here and I got the oxtails with cabbage and rice and peas. Everything had good flavor and they were pretty generous with the portions also. I was also late to pick up my order bc google maps had their location by the Janaf Norfolk Library, but the food was still warm by the time I ate it. I will definitely come back to try their other dishes
The food is so good and fresh I ordered fritters, soo good, jerk chicken curry, real Jamaican food reminds me of new york make me feel like home this is a must have, thank you guys
