I wanted chicken and waffles. I wanted to find a place that had great food and ambiance. I didn’t need super fancy…just an “at home vibe” . This place HIT the nail on the head. The food is SUPER amazing. The eggs (sunny side up) were the best cooked eggs I’ve ever had from a “breakfast “ joint. I got my plate and they looked so delish I ate most of it before I remembered to get the proverbial “foodie photo”. I’m not a foodie but this plate made me become one. Anywho, they serve alcohol too so I’m sure if your Saturday night is a blurry memory, you can go get a glass of the hair of the dog that bit you and enjoy time looking through tall your friends photos of you singing while standing on the top of the table of the bar you eventually passed out at. It’s good. So go.

10/10 recommend must go. The wait staff is great. Really friendly and down to earth. The pancakes are phenomenal. A buttery fluffy delight. The menu has great breakfast options. Went twice over my 3 day weekend trip. Must come back to Virginia Beach just to eat here again.
A great little place to eat with a wide variety of options. I ate breakfast here on 7/2/2022 and the meal was outstanding. This was their breakfast lunch menu. I have eaten supper here where they have lots of other things as well
A great place to have breakfast. Great customer service and of course food. We were greeted and seated right away, and our food came out pretty quickly. Great way to enjoy our first time here. Also I ordered the blueberry French toast, and it was so delicious. We will definitely come again when we are in the area. Thank you!
Breakfast here is great, but we just tried lunch and the buffalo chicken sandwich was tough (old?) chicken tenders and the sauce was like a Mexican hot sauce, definitely not a buffalo style sauce. The bun was stale and the potato salad was just unseasoned potatoes and mayonnaise. The cheese steak grilled cheese had dry and overcooked beef, barely any peppers and onions, and some canned mushrooms. Mozzarella cheese is a strange choice for a grilled cheese or a cheese steak. The fries were good though.
Had drinks at the bar yesterday afternoon to avoid the sideways rain storm. Then went back for breakfast this morning. Great fast, friendly service. And great food and drinks!
One of the best spots I've ever been to. Food was great, prices were great. Service was top notch. If you're wondering about this place, go check it out. Delicious. I got the philly beach bowl and it did not disappoint. Ingredients were fresh and everything was cooked perfectly.
Deeply disappointing. Went here for lunch and ordered a beach house burger which was supposed to come with pineapple, ham and Mayo, but I got a plain old dry, overcooked greasy burger. I don’t even think it was seasoned, it had no flavor, no condiments. I ordered it medium well and it was very well done. Now let’s get to the grossest part. As I picked up my burger, grease was oozing out of it. I actually squeezed it to let all the grease out and it pooled into a puddle on my plate. The grease soaked through the entire bun, it was completely inedible. Same with the fries. My husband had a chicken sandwich which was terribly dry, he didn’t take more than two bites. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was packed, so I’ll give them credit for that, but the food took an hour to come out.Maybe the good reviews are for the breakfast dishes, but I won’t be coming back to find out.
We found Karla’s on GoogleMaps and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. Great breakfast in large portions and great coffee. The staff were fantastic. They were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was nice too.
