Even if I were to ignore the fact the store didn't include bacon (as the menu indicated), it seems to be lacking in the lettuce, tomato and turkey areas too. Once the cost of side items were added (which I had to go back to get, as all weren't included in the carry-out order) this meal was $30. But, at least the employees were nice.
Why even offer curbside service if you’re not going to honor it? After ordering online and selecting curbside because I am sick, I still had to go into the store to get my food. I received notification on my phone that my food would be out shortly and after waiting in my car for almost 15 minutes it never came. When I went in the store the cashier said “oops they put it over there”. My food had been ready and just sitting in the pick up area. I received no apology of course. Also a few months ago my friend got delivery from this location and her bread had mold on it. If you want anything done right just do yourself a favor and go to another location.
This is our third order from this particular store that was not in fact freaky fresh or freaky fast. Food takes an hour at a minimum to arrive. Shame on us for having faith that our last time was just a fluke. I was ok with spending close to 100$ on sandwiches because the convenience was there when I needed it, but the last 6 months or so the quality has just gone so downhill that it’s not even close to being worth it. This will definitely be our last order. A curtesy call or message would be nice if there is a driver shortage or something, but no. They just leave you hanging and unless you call them, you will never know if or when your food will arrive. There is no discount or compensation of any kind for the long wait times either.
No staff and order was not only 10 minutes to get sandwich, one was wrong.
Just thought I share this with yall regarding my experience with Jimmy John's franchise on 1158 n military highway. Since trying to handle this through private messages and phone calls don't work, how bout I start making some noise? Starting with my Google review I did yesterday listed below.
there were couples for stooges working in the evening , they don't wear mask, I ordered a meal with drink and cookies, I never got the cookies. the bread also tasted weird. DON'T EAT AT THIS JJ.
Went there today to get 2 sandwiches to get initially told the sandwich i want is no longer sold there to be looked at sideways when I'm not sure what to order. Completed the order to find out there was lettuce on an order that we request to only want specific ingredients on it to be talked to aggressively and told they are unsure what the owner/managers name or number is to have the 3rd sandwich i paid for messed up again and to have additional attitude when requesting the sandwich be made with only the 3 ingredients i wanted. I have been going here for 2 years with well over a dozen times a year going here but I will not return for poor customer service and bad employe attitude
We came here to get dinner on 11/1/21 at 6pm. We walked in and there was not one employee in sight. We waited for ten minutes, even yelled hello and checked the bathrooms…no one in sight. I will never come to this one again. Ended up going to the one in greenbrier where the service was awesome and plenty of employees working. Not impressed jimmy johns Norfolk. You need to step up your customer service!
Average Jimmy Johns. Nothing special. They were out of some items and weird things like kids but I'll blame that on the US supply chain issues at the moment
I ordered a sandwich from here and it had no bacon on it which I ordered on it for $2.25 It had tomato on it which I said no tomato they didn't want to do anything about it they didn't want to remake the sandwich they did not want to give me my money back they did not want to do anything about it they was super rude and I will never never ever order from this place ever again because of this I've had problems like this before this is why I don't really like them I rather pay the extra money to go to Firehouse or somewhere else that does subs I am done with going here I hope someone does something about this cuz this location does this all the time
