The food was good!!! But when I got the bill and looked at it they automatically and 10% tip. Rarely look at the bill but then there are recommendations for another 20%. I was by myself. No 6 or more in my group but they expect 30% gratuity. Again the food was good but look at your bill!!

My mom, my brother, and I went to Hook and Reel for the first time yesterday to celebrate my mom's birthday. My mom and I initially wanted to share a plate. However, we decided to get two different baskets. We were both really shocked when we received our baskets because it was a lot of food. I had the catfish basket. It was so crunchy and fresh. The sweet potato fries were on point. I recommend that you go there with a big appetite because the portions are huge.

This is my favorite seafood restaurant. The staff and manager, Mike, give superb customer service. The food is always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend you stopping in to have a delicious meal and/or cocktail.
I really really Love my Food,,,I had lemon pepper chicken and crab balls, and two bags and the garlic sauce was the absolute bomb!!!!! My first time there,,,and the young lady met me at the door was absolutely the Best,,,I went after work it was Great ?? I will recommend anybody to hook and reel,,,,
The staff and food here is great. You get your money's worth. If you love seafood this is a place to go. You can also come to have a party atmosphere.
When this spot first opened I used to come all the time these last couple of times I’ve had an issue with my service but today was definitely my last time going.My family came in and my father ordered the lobster bisque and a frozen margarita my mom, husband and I ordered boils.The bisque had literally one small piece of lobster in it BUT my father said the taste of it was amazing so didn’t want to send it back. His drink was watered down.Then my mother ordered shrimp with head off and only half were off so that had to get sent back.After that we assumed everything was fine. I had to take my husband back to work so we paid packed up and left when I got home I realized I paid extra for boiled eggs and my bag did not have any.Although the food is great it’s not worth me always having an issue.
