This was my first visit to Hank’s and I don’t think it will be my last! The staff was friendly and the food was good. We ate in the dining area so we missed the trivia going on in the outdoor section. But I plan to return to test out my trivia skills. I had the pretzel knots with beer cheese and the smoked wings with the bbq bourbon sauce. The bar tender made a drink for me based on what I told him I like and it was good too!
Fun place. Variety of bourbon. Lots of different mostly local beers. Great apps and sandwiches. Nice space out back with lots of games.
Enjoy yourself at this place with plenty of local color.Great sandwich (although I did not order the BBQ because I don’t eat a lot of beef.)Rustic decor gives a great sense of space. The multi-season outdoor area invites you to slow down and hang out. They offer games, local music, plenty of drink options.
What a great place! Like sitting in the back yard, enjoying each other's company, gathering over brilliant beers and even better food!We came here because my nephew and his girlfriend enjoy coming here. We hadn't planned on staying all evening, but lo and behold........here we were......staying for several hours and laughing, reconnecting and just enjoying the vibe and each other's company.I Love Hanks Filling Station!Staff were helpful and supportive.Thank you for welcoming us. It was my first time going there, with friends of mine who recommended it. I had the beef brisket , macaroni, and cheese. I was surprised that the beef brisket had only 3 pieces in the dish for the price, NOT a very good portion size. I thought it would have been a larger portion size; that was disappointing. However, the flavor was good. Now, the macaroni and cheese even though they took a very long time to prepare it because my order was accidentally given to my one of guests. The macaroni and cheese was some of the best I've ever had: it had a wonderful smoked flavor.I then looked over their wine selection, and I actually found a bottle that was called Jam Jar, a bottle of Shiraz. My friend said that she loved that kind of wine, so I purchased that for her. She mentioned how great it was, light and sweet, and the price was right too! When I got to the counter, the guy said, "You know, this may be a deal, but it's really a STEAL for the bottle was actually less than $7. Yes, I would return again!
Really good BBQ and Apps. Great selection of beer and bourbons too. Very casual. No waitstaff, only bartenders and cooks.
Another great place for some good food... Smoked wings 10 out of 10... My buddy had a BLT and as u can see he started going to town on that sandwich... Will be back again for some more great food... Good job ?
I had wings, tots, and a few drinks (Moscow Mule). The wings were smoked flavor and pretty delicious. The tots were plain but had a hint of salt to them which made them tasty. The drinks were made well and tasty. Looking forward to trying more of the menu next time I visit.
AWESOME FOOD and the best service I've had in a restaurant in a very long time!! Great attitude and very accommodating to our party of 7! Reasonably priced for the the quality and quantity of food. We will definitely be back when in the area!
Hank's was one of the worst places I have ever eaten. I'm originally from New York I'm very used to all different types of cuisines I went to Hank's ordered smoke pulled chicken which was smokeless and flavorless to the point that you can taste the raw essence of the chicken. It just tastes like raw chicken that was semi thawed and cooked the portion was small I would say not even a quarter pound of chicken which normally is the cheapest thing on any menu macaroni cheese is basically Velveeta and the beans had two varieties porking beans and kidney beans they weren't great either and their sauces a bright spot pretty decent I tried to take some to go with my order which was also to go but they didn't even have Lids for me to close keep the sauce contained within transport the service wasn't the best the lady was a little rude and unhelpful or unwilling to help me even get lids or come up with a solution for me to take sauce some I won't tell anyone to eat there if you want something good to eat go to redwood barbecue it won't disappoint. Truthfully I'm not sure how Hank's has so many good reviews the food isn't even so farthe food isn't even sub pair or at least what I had maybe the people who like Hanks like that atmosphere drink alcohol then eat at that point anything would taste good
