Located on Virginia Beach Boulevard around the corner from Bonefish Grill, El Taco Loco Mexican Restuarant is crazy enough to go beyond the conventional menu and serve you other delicious food like Mexican Ribs and a seafood soup. Both are very flavorful to try! Also, the server was very proactive on her job anticipating what we need and want and provides it. She's a server that really cares! Good food! Excellent service! Five stars!
It's like home away from home. I've been going here for 11 years and they never have disappointed me. The fresh salsa Verde is the best in Hampton roads period. The servers are the best, I know them all , the manager and owner all are welcoming, plus you get bomb food. It's always clean and neat, the drinks are great. If you want a great meal in a nice place with awesome staff you will not be disappointed here.
What a hidden gem! On a Thursday night it was hopping and my husband liked the drink specials. They were willing to work with fussy kids who wanted meal substitutions and all the food was colorful and flavorful and well presented. Best salsa I have seriously had in years ! The chips were fresh and hot and delicious. The waiter was so polite and easy to work with. You should definitely try them out!
Generous portions, good value ($7/lunch specials), and good taste. A good place to bring your family. My lunch special taco salad was filled with shredded chicken! Very quick and great service! I hope they keep it this way. Will come back again.
I've been going there for about 10 years and the food is always amazing! If you go enough, you become family. I even have left my business cards there. Wonderful place all around!
I am so disappointed in this restaurant and never had a bad experience with them until last night. I called in and ordered a #8 ( 1 enchilada 1 tamale rice and beans)with a side of lettuce, tomato and sour cream.The order i received was something stuffed with cheese with a tomato pasta on the top.. Clearly not what I ordered.No rice and no beans. I also ordered a #27, nacho supreme, cheese and chips, 2 quesadilla meals one with chicken with a side of shrimp the other was steak. They gave me kid meal Quesadillas which came up to 33.32. They gave the money back for the quesadillas and of course got the food back in return. With the number #8 nothing was done. I am really in disbelief of how the lack of customer service was displayed by staff and management. I used to consider El Rodeo one of my favorite restaurants now i no longer will visit that establishment.
I was having a horrible day. My server completely turned my day around. He was so sweet and caring. My food was amazing, seasoned so well and hot. I will 100% come back here. Wonderful experience.
This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant. I've been coming here for years. Always received friendly service, and great tasting food!!! Can't go wrong with a Margarita. In my case, a dos Equis draft & chilled patron with lime.Thank you El Rodeo for another pleasant dining experience ??
