Somehow I found this place and I’m so glad I did. The servers were very professional and respectful, they even recommended their favorite hot dogs. They have regular ones, and then other types for those feeling more adventurous. Hot dogs were delicious! Thank you so much for everything, I’ll definitely be back!

Best Chili Hot-Dog restaurant is very clean and the staff was nice
So i took my family to the OV on vacation and the hotel clerk said we "HAVE TO TRY DOUGS!!"After looking at their menu online, my 11 yo was sold on the Mac and cheese dog..we arrived at 4:15 on a wed. and was told they have no Mac and cheese. So she settled on a chilli dog...the store was dead, the server was friendly enough, the dogs were ok. Sorry but im not a fan of the OV dog. where im from they call it a thrash can dog...so I left with a upset kid and headed across the street to mc'd.....sorry not sold on this place...$18 for 6 dogs for 3 ppl and we were still hungry minus my kids hot dog.....I can see this being a quick small lunch stop in....dinner=NO!
An OV staple! Great dogs, I like to get the OV snap dog and a chilli dog. If you're really hungry though get a third. Potato salad is good too!Wish they had fries though.
This restaurant was great. I had a hot dog all the way and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. My daughter and grandson said theirs was good also. I will definitely go back. The service was wonderful also. Very nice people and a very clean establishment. I would recommend anyone to try it.
Best spot for great snap dogs and the pulled pork sandwich is very good. The shop manager is 1 of the hardest working manager I have seen. She is always there and has a great staff behind her. Live this spot ?
I have passed this restaurant many times when I go by after hours. Finally at their Saturday. You choose between a Hormel dog and an all beef. I had two Hormel dogs with mustard, onions , chili and slaw. They are also known for soups and have a large selection on their menu. My meal was exactly as expected and I will be back again.
This quaint family run joint has been around for nearly 50 years. Dougs Hotdogs in Ocean View serves hotdogs, soups, sides, and sandwiches. With an interesting assortment of toppings. You can choose from a beef dog or a local made in Norfolk dog that is not all beef but still delicious. And top it simply with cheese or go all out and add mac and cheese. I got the suicide dog topped with cheese jalapeños and cheetos. It was wasn't as spicy as I wanted but it hit the spot. Rodney ordered soup and a chilli dog. The soup was hearty and chunky. The broth was well seasoned without being salty. We left full and happy and didn't spend a ton of money. This joint is small on the inside but you can order delivery or to go. Also the customer service was great. The ladies behind the counter made us feel welcome. These folks are doing dogs right. Its worth a stop if you enjoy a decent hotdog and the prices are reasonable.
My husband always loves their bean soup! The chunks of pork are large & very flavorful. I enjoyed a perfectly blended egg salad sandwich there last week. Great Hot Dogs too! The place is small and parking is an adventure - but well worth the stop!
