Dockside is a diamond the rough. Closest thing Norfolk has to a bar like 'Cheers'. Comfortable, amazing bartenders, and a great atmosphere. If you are tired of 'breweries' serving $9 wheatwater, or 'trendy' bars serving $15 Heinekens, and just want a good bar atmosphere where people remember your name, then this is your place. Lachele is the best!
This place is by far the best bar in Norfolk. I've been coming here since 2013 and i will not step foot in another establishment besides Dockside Bar and Grill. The staff is amazing, the drinks are cold and very much affordable and the food doesn't get much better. If you're looking for a bar with a solid atmosphere, Dockside is the place. Man i love this bar!
I'm here now and I truly hope it gets better with 3 other people in the ace besides me.....but judging by Mt bat temder attitude probably not! Mmmm Leshell gave such a welcoming feeling (no she didnt). I hope she was just having a bad night, probably not on a Sunday!
Oh my goodness...the bartender (Sunday Night 12/20/21) needs to be fired! Don't waste you time, bad service! I'll be calling the owner!

Hole in the wall bar, but old bay wings are on point. I like the hole in the wall bar vibe so if that's your scene to go have a few drinks and play pool then this place is a go.
A great spot to get couple of beers and relax.Everyone knows everyone and if you are new they are more than welcome to chat with you
