This is always a favorite place to grab food from and to take visiting family. I've been going here for years for that New York style pizza. You can get an extra-large pie (18inch) and be full after 2 slices. Perfect sauce to cheese ratio that make it still tasty on a microwave reheat. Their stuffed pizza is good too...not stingy on ingredients and very flavorful. I also love their garlic knots...oh the butter sauce is so rich and delicious. Their food is worth the drive even if you don't live in the area.

Del Vecchios is my favorite Italian place in Hampton Roads. The food is similar in quality and taste expectations to Olive Garden, but with slightly cheaper prices in exchange for the usual sit-down atmosphere of other Italian restaurants. Grub Hub offers excellent delivery or pickup through their arrangement with the restaurant. The food often takes an hour or so to be prepared/delivered, but is absolutely worth the wait. All of the dishes--especially the garlic knots--are very generously portioned and well worth the price.

One of the BEST CHEESE STEAK subs I've had. Everything worked well - the steak, american cheese, grilled mushrooms and onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo, oil and vinegar with the soft tasty bread!Highly Recommended ?

Had the meat Stromboli. Was amazing. The crust was crispy crunchy without being hard at all. The inside was perfect. Haven't had one this good in a very very long time. Co-workers had the stuffed pizza and the sausage stromboli both did theirs were excellent.Very busy but the service was quick. Would definitely go again.

Taste, atmosphere, service, value-all 3 of 5 stars. Overall, “meh”. Only vegan option was spaghetti with marinara or Stromboli without cheese. Store bought marinara is better than their store bought marinara.

Got the cheesy bread and pepperoni deep dish. The cheesy bread was great and was served with a side of sweet pizza sauce. The deep dish was good but again had the sweet sauce that myself and boyfriend are not a fan of. The deep dish was also extremely greasy. The amount of napkins we used was like having a diaper on a baby. The deep dish was good just never had seen that much grease on a deep dish before. A pool of grease.

Had a pick up order and was missing items I ordered.(two cups of ranch). I called the store to get refunded for the two cups of ranch that I didn't get and they offered me store credit instead of simply refunding my card.Again food is really good but y'all know pizza is not the same without ranch... Hope fully they can do a better job at packing to go order. Update I ordered again and they forgot two toppings on my pizza. Please make sure you open up and check your pizza before you leave the shop

I crave your generous Greek Salad, top of the line garlic knots and decadent chocolate cake! However when I call in an order and get there to be told that you do not have my order, I consider this an epic fail! You even confirmed that I called the right store. It did not come with a smile and an apology, it came with "Well what do you want?". Subway got my money tonight and I'll find another place to order from now on.

My wife and I love going to Del Vecchios! The pizza is crazy good and the staff are always incredible to be around! We’ve never had a bad dinner or negative experience there. It’s our “go to” home away from home.

This is the best NY style pizza you’ll find in Norfolk. My husband and I nearly gave up on pizza here after moving from Chicago and NY. We tried several pizza places here and none of them were good or worth the money until we tried this one. We love this place. We get pepperoni and I’ve had their veggie slices too. The dough is perfectly thin and crunchy and the sauce is excellent! Also, we love the tiramisu. It tends to be frozen every time we order it, but it’s good even if you don’t defrost it. We’re so grateful this place. Definitely satisfies the pizza cravings. It deserves way more than 4.5 stars. If any of the other pizza places have a higher rating than Del Vecc’s, I’d discredit it.
