First place in Hampton Roads that I have gone to where the carne asada burrito doesn't come stuffed with beans and rice. They made in Cali style with Pico de Gallo, guacamole and carne asada. The carne asada wasnt real flavorful, but I was excited to find the burrito. They also had nice crisp tortilla chips and fresh chunky guacamole. This is our first trip here, so I am not sure about the rest of the menu yet, but this was a great first impression with some yummy Baja food.
Quality? Quantity? They have it all, with every order. Authentic mexican food that tastes absolutely amazing. Best mexican food, or even food in general, in Norfolk. Have gone here for years, and not once had a bad experience. Very kind staff, who may not always speak good english, but they are trying their best. Everything that I have ever had off their menu was amazing, and I always had to bring some home with me. Great food, great establishment, would give 20/5 stars if that were possible.
Went there last Friday and had crunchy tacos with no lettuce. The cheese they use is great.However, aside from the cramped seats for large groups, I ordered a beef quesadea at the same time and never got it. Waited 45 to 92 minutes and never got it, though we weren't charged at the last minute thankfully.I was accused of "yelling" as a bonus even though I said "no" three times slightly loud.
The food was too salty. The orders were wrong. We ordered the quesadilla without meat. Only a cheese quesadilla when I should have had right by beans. They put too much salt on a cheese quesadilla. I ordered the taco salad Deluxe and got the taco salad fajita. I requested a burrito deluxe to go order and I had to go ask for three times while it was sitting on a counter. Never going back.
A family favorite really. Large portions and vast menu. Reasonable prices, especially when considering the amount of excellent food. We've never had a bad meal in the years that we have been going there. The odds of that is staggering. The staff is patient and attentive. Any questions do not annoy them too. Super friendly staff. They are apart of the family now.
I wish I remembered to take a picture of my delicious chicken and spinach enchiladas. Omg amazing!!! This was my first visit…want to try the steak bowl when I go back?friendly staff, great prices, food was seasoned well. I enjoyed my dining experience.
Finally in Hampton roads there is a great Mexican restaurant. The portions are large the price is reasonable especially the specials. I would highly recommend trying. You get chips and salsa included with entree. The beers are also great!!
I love their Carne Asada Fries! Food is always great.
Basura. This some girgo Mexican food just overall overated locally and there are much better restaurants right down the street. Decor is also generally corny.
I don’t know why I did not try this place sooner. OMG! So good. Everything was incredible. We have some great Mexican places all around here, but, this is tops to me. Food is the best. Staff is super nice. Thinking about going again today.
