We visited on the 25th of June had the steak and egg burrito and eggs Benedict. There was absolutely no seasoning on it. It was bland. I have been here multiple times before and it seems the food only gets worse. The service was great and I also got one of the 10 dollar juices it was good but not 10 dollars good. All in all it was disappointing waste of 45 dollars , probably won't be come back again or for a long time.
It took an hour and a half to get our food. We saw several parties come in, order, and get their food as we sat there with only our drinks. Once the food arrived, the double yolker we ordered featured completely raw eggs. The whites of the egg weren't cooked at all and were still see-through and runny. A breakfast restaurant should be able to handle a sunny side up egg, but not this restaurant! I requested no ham in my dish, and when my food finally arrived it was full of ham. We had to wait even longer while the kitchen remade both orders. Our waitress was very kind and apologetic which was the only positive out of this experience. We arrived at 10am and left around noon, because that's how long it took for the kitchen to get our (not very complicated) order right.
Really good. Just what I needed after not being able to really get a good American breakfast for the past year. Really liked the corned beef hash.
We enjoyed a family brunch here while in town for a wedding. The omelets were delicious. The kids’ menu offered Fruity Pebble pancakes, which were a big hit. Be patient if you have to wait - they are short staffed right now.
Last time here was 2005 and was back in town and the food is still great, and the staff was friendly
Very nice place to eat. I took my family there, we all ate a Delicious late Breakfast at the bar with Wonderful Service. Very attentive staff and Great food !
Prior to today I have never had a bad meal here. Service is always good. Today I ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. The meal was a disappointment. The gravy was so salty I couldn't finish it. Truly awful. The hash browns were brought to me cold. Not even warm, and certainly not crispy. I brought this to the attention of the gentleman who brought my order to me. He took them back and a few minutes later brought them back hot and having been crisped up on the griddle. The whole vibe was. kind of 'We don't care'. I don't think I will go back.
I’m don’t want to say the workers are racist but I definitely had racial experience with the service. I waited almost 10 minutes for a menu at the bar. It was a Sunday morning so it was moderately busy. I made eye contact with a couple waiters but they seemed busy. Then a white lady sat 2 chairs down from me and she was immediately greeted with a menu and water. I kindly expressed my concern with the staff and they were indifferent. This was one my favorite places to eat when I was in Undergrad. I ate there Almost religiously. I’m truly disturbed by the direction this business is going. The food is spectacular but I don’t ever see my coming back and spending a dime at D’egg. It was just my experience so take this with a grain of salt.
After almost waiting for an hour, we were seated for a delicious late breakfast/Sunday brunch! We enjoyed the traditional eggs Benedict and eggs sunny side-up with grits. I must say that this restaurant is only open 3-4 days a week which makes the waits too long. Be sure to call beforehand!
My only complaint is they are not open every day of the week. Check before you go! Coffee, eggs, biscuit, bacon and grits. Fresh squeezed juice. What more can you ask for?
