The first time i tried there cheese burgers and fries it was awesome but after that i have not been able to get the same burger again. I have been trying different things to see if i can find something else that i like nothing has stuck out as of yet. But i will continue to try to find something because this is a nice spot and it stays crowded so that tells me something. It just may be me i am very picky when it comes to my food.
People might judge this place based off of how it looks from the outside but let me tell you DON’T. The restaurant was clean inside and the service was great. This is an awesome place to catch some quality food in a down to earth setting. Hands down they have the best she crab soup in the area. The Black seared Tuna steak was awesome. The fried raviolis were bomb and the lumpia was good with generous portions. I will definitely be coming back to try more options. Solid Dive, Dine in with bar! Also the area is not bad. Some of the real estate in the surrounding area is dated but trust me nobody is thinking about you and no one will bother you. Go in Rons and enjoy your food and stop the fear mongering!
Cap’n Ron’s food is shockingly good every time I’ve tried something different on the menu. Chicken quesadilla, nachos, grilled chicken salad, and this time Mac n’ cheese bites and a philly steak sub. ? (I tried it before I posted) The vibe is also pretty nice and bartenders are top tier.
Just a good Ole hometown bar. No frills, a few thrills, and a solid place to have a cold one after wor, maybe share a few appetizers or quick eats.
Was not disappointed on my 2nd visit.Had the chile and was one of the best bowls I have had in any establishments in some time.Had the right balance of meat /beans and grease.wish they served it with saltines or cornbread.
I go to Ron's all the time, and they always have Great Food, nothing bad on the menu, but this time I had a Tuna Steak Sandwich that was Amazing. Coupled with the She Crab Soup that's the best in the area I had a Fantastic meal.Not your average bar food by Far.
Great place to grab a drink and something to eat. Pool tables. Covered Outside deck area for smoking.The ladies are always welcoming and service is great. Must try the scallops wrapped in bacon
Great place... Beyond great bartender's and great locals who love to play pool .... So glad I stopped by and now I'm a regular well starting lol
