My wife and I recently had our rehearsal dinner at Brick Anchor. We were simply blown away by our experience working with Brick Anchor. The owner was very kind and helpful in explaining the options available to us for our special occasion, even providing us a detailed, personalized menu for our guests. The bartenders and wait staff were top notch; they were very courteous, considerate, and efficient from the beginning of our event to the end to ensure our guests were well looked after. The food was delicious; I expected it to be good, but it far exceeded my expectations! The upstairs room was perfect for a relaxed, intimate rehearsal dinner. They even let us extend our event time for a couple more hours so that we could have the welcome party for all of our out-of-town guests in the same space. We are very thankful we chose Brick Anchor.
Beer selection is excellent! So many beers on tap so there is something for everyone including many VA craft beers. The food was fabulous, I really enjoyed the Braised Beef Grilled Cheese. There was a ton of tender beef on the sandwich. My wife had the Ruben and really enjoyed it also. When you stop by be sure to ask for Cat. She is extremely helpful and friendly.
Excellent food, beer selection, advice, and service - especially Cat! Loved the well thought out decor! Wish we lived closer so we could return sometime soon.
We stopped in here for a quick snack and a beer. Really friendly staff. There's and street parking around.We ordered a couple tasters of the beer and then the Fried pickles and fried Asparagus. They were breaded the same and were overall good in flavor. Would like to come back to try the rest of the menu and the other beers.
Picked Brick Anchor for a group meeting last night and it was spectacular! We were able to get the upstairs to ourselves. Michelle was our waitress/bartender and there are NOT enough words to express how amazing she was. At one point she was pulled to work our party and a downstairs party. Although she was running around A LOT our service never suffered. Definitely planning on going again and requesting Michelle!
John, a BEVERAGE enthusiast, is absolutely an expert, and a great personality behind the bar. Highly recommend supporting this local establishment. We had our post-wedding celebration in the Tasting Room at Brick Anchor Brew House and it could not have been more perfect. Phil was wonderful to work with, our bartender Jason was friendly, helpful and a hit with my guests. Food was hot and delicious and the room is just beautiful. They made custom menus with a photo of us and left a page out for guests to leave us notes and best wishes. I could not have imagined a better ending to my wedding day. Highly recommend Brick Anchor!!
A great venue for a reunion, party or get together. I highly recommend them. Phil was amazing to work with. The bar manager and bartenders were great! The cooks did an excellent job! Our Navy Squadron Reunion was there and was fantastic!!
The burger was overcooked when I asked for a medium (was well done) but had good flavor. The triple berry sour I got was exceptional and if you like sours I highly suggest getting one. The pork nachos were also delicious and would get again. Very cool place.
