Use to enjoy the food prior to Covic. Food quality and service is no longer as it once was. The chicken was well overcooked. I like crunchy chicken, but this was much too hard a chew. I went inside to order rather than wait in the drive thru, a mistake because I saw how dirty the food counter actually was, as well as the interaction between the manager and the workers. Every container of food had spill overs onto the counter and it looked nasty. There were so many french fries spilled on the food counter they fell onto the floor directly onto the customer walk thru area. Any of he major fast food outlets would never allow this to happen in their place of business. The employees seemed careless and unconcerned about customer service. A lot of this seemed to stem from the attitude of the manager/supervisor (think his name tag said, Fred). Never heard him say a kind or encouraging word to the workers, only chastising them. With just a show of kindness and concern for workplace cleanliness,he could elevate the staff to a higher level. Depressing atmosphere.
The manager of this Bonjangles runs a tight ship and her staff has excellent customer service. The food was tasty, prepared quickly, and even though there was a mistake with the order, it was corrected with a smile and great attitude. You don’t see this at many fast food restaurants these days, so I really appreciated it. Keep up the great work!
Don’t get the 8 piece cause you get 3 wings, 3 legs, and 2 thighs!!!!
Always fun to visit when in Virginia. I buy the biscuits for my customers.
Was told that they couldn't take my order and they were closing cause they were short of staff. When there was only two cars ahead of me that just ordered and all I wanted was a two piece combo. I drove around of the car that was in front of me and it's over 13 people in they claim they short of staff. Haven't seen anyone walk OUT.. smh
Great and fast service. Get you a Bo Berry biscuit and their chicken sandwich and you'll have a delicious meal.
We always come to this location, but the staff tonight were extremely rude. We always get the 20 piece family meal that has the tenders and chicken. I asked for the meal and sides of Mac & cheese , coleslaw and fries. We received our stuff at the window and I pulled up to check the box since my order was messed up last time I came there but didn't feel like going back there since I didn't check last time and was already home. Well I opened the box and was missing fries, so I walked in and let the staff know I was missing fries, the lady argued with me telling me she knows she put fries in the box, but she didn't and kept going on and on and arguing with me. I spent almost $40 bucks and you are going to have the nerve to argue with me over a $2 fry you didn't put in my box. I said I would bring the box in or they could come look for themselves since she claimed she put it in there. So she gave me the fry but continued to give me an attitude, I let her know she was extremely rude and had a serious attitude. The older white gentleman whom was there working with the ear piece (possibly a manager) even told her to stop.. I'm super disappointed in the way I was treated tonight, maybe she was having a bad day, I don't know.. but that was seriously uncalled for. Hopefully management can train these employees to be more respectful to customers.
It gets worse every time I go. I haven't visited this location in over year. Decided to try it out again and was disappointed as usual. The fries were dry and cold. The sandwich was burnt and old. The iced tea was a coke. Will never return to this location again. I will drive out of my way to Northampton Blvd to get decent food.
