This was my first encounter and even though it will be my last I do appreciate the fact the gentleman was able to take my order at the last minute and make something nice and tasty. I looked up bakeries in the area that make last minute cakes and came across Bluehoneybakery. I read some reviews and it seemed like a pretty good choice. Overall as far as the cake goes I was happy with my choice, but my overall experience is what made me rate it 3 stars. I did not like the fact nowhere on the advertisement did it state that it was a home business. Me personally don't feel comfortable conducting business in someone's home. It was difficult finding the actual house because the address is hard to see. There's also no sign displaying the business name to help customers find the location either. From my first initial conversation over the phone to the time that I met the gentleman in person I wasn't fond of. In my opinion he is not professional nor is he polite he has no people / customer service skills. Lastly even though I gave credit for his work with the cake and taking my order at the last minute it in my opinion it was not worth $80 for a 7" cake that's price gouging.
I ordered from out of town for a surprise graduation party. The cake and cupcakes were delivered to where I needed them which was a huge help! Communication was constant and the cupcakes were phenomenal. I didn’t get to the chocolate cake but the lemon and the vanilla cupcakes were moist and tasty. I got asked all night who made everything. I will absolutely order from here again.
My mother hired them to make the cake for my graduation party from Hampton University this past Sunday on Mother's Day and it was amazing. They brought my entire vision and design to life in absolute perfection and I definitely recommend using them for your next event.

Very patient, super responsive. Did an outstanding job of decorating our cake, and nailed thr color scheme and look that my wife planned for ger party. We are very happy! Price was very reasonable, too!

Emanuel is amazing went on vacation for my husband birthday and I order a cake from him and it was amazing well done.
I called as I drove in from NY on Friday for my mothers surprise party on Tuesday. It was very last minute and Emanuel not only made a beautiful quarter sheet cake with a Luau design, he also made 12 stuffed cupcakes. When I tell you these cupcakes are so amazing and moist. I would highly recommend this business! I loved the fact that I could get him on his cell phone with questions and concerns.
