Went here for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon. Didn’t have huge expectations but was pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side but the fries were nice and crispy, the cornbread was yummy, the chicken and brisket both had great flavor and were moist. The slaw was simple but very good. Will be going back for sure!
The food at Blue Ribbon Brews & BBQ was superb! My SO doesn't like cornbread but LOVED their rendition of cornbread - creamy on the inside & crunchy on the outside. They also use honey & butter on the top. Yum! ?My SO got the brisket sandwich and I got pulled pork. Both were equally delicious!I don't know why this place isn't more busy at dinner time. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, delicious BBQ. 10/10, we'll be back again!
We stopped in here for lunch, with our three young kids. My husband and I ordered an appetizer of burnt ends, and Nick's Special (pulled pork, half chicken, brisket, pork ribs, and slaw) with two sides, corn bread and potato salad, to share. It was all delicious. My husband's favorite was the pulled pork, and the ribs were the best I've had in a long time. The only downside was that they didn't have a kids menu. However, we ordered two chicken tender baskets for our kids to split; all was well! We would definitely go back. Also, service was great! Thanks!

Tried for the first time today, and was left very dissatisfied. With the exception of the exception of the brisket, EVERYTHING was subpar from the cornbread to the BBQ sauce.The brisket on the other hand, was not great, no other way to put it. It was tough for brisket, and required cutting in order to eat. I asked if that’s the way the brisket was supposed to be, and they stated it was. So it was not a messed up order, that’s literally the way they make it to be. I didn’t eat much of my brisket, not worth the calories with the taste and texture it had. Very disappointed, will not be return.
Billy and Matt are two of the most genuine and gracious restaurant owners I've ever met. The bar staff there will remember you after the first day and treat you like they've known you all your life. Their BBQ is some of the best I've ever tasted.
Had a burger and fries, my bride had a burger and okra…. All cooked very good, nice presentation and attentive wait staff. Also great happy hour prices. Give ‘em a try, I think you will like them too!
Amazing staff, very attentive even with large crowd and quick to fix any discrepancy’s no questions asked! I would highly recommend anything on the menu and a great happy hour!

Amazing restaurant new to Norfolk. I love bbq and this place definitely does not let you down. I can't believe I ate it all but it was worth the effort. The smoked flavor is through and through the meat. The corn bread is amazing ... There is nothing I could say to anyone who is thinking about eating here other than do it... I don't usually give 5 stars but Texas has come to Hampton roads!!!!
