Had the chicken curry with rice Indian spicy yesterday it was great spiced perfect I think I’ll go for the Indian extra spicy and see how that is. Highly recommend

I ordered the “boneless” Crab Curry, medium heat and 2 butter Roti. I think it is lump crab. It is all served as takeout (in boxes) but you can eat inside with no service. I didn’t eat inside but others were. The food was very good and you get a 15% discount for paying cash.

This was my 1st time here and my 1st time eating Indian food. All I can say is WOW!!! I got chicken Tiki Masala. Indian medium spice. The taste was phenomenal. I thought i was safe but The spice caught up to me about half way through. Lol I definitely will be going back.

Great food, however was self service and wait time for very long. The cashier did let us know upfront. Some items were not available, but the food served was very delicious.

Been here 5 times now and doesn’t disappoint. They’re open late, always fresh and never too long of a wait 10/15 usually.

Not really the best Indian food, but gets the job done.Prices are above the median for the quality of food. The location is shady. The decor is dated and customer service is not amazing.

We go here regularly 1-2 times a month driving 1 hr each way, crossing the HRBT to get biryani and appetizers , call in with the order on the way and its steaming hot and ready by the time we get there. I have lived half my life in one of the best cities for biryani in the world ( Hyderabad India) and can tell ya these guys get it very very close to the best. Will continue to be a regular !!

Delicious! We loved everything we ordered and they all came in huge portions. I wasn't aware initially that they don't serve you and they do take out boxes for dine in, so my expectations were low at first. However, once the food came out, it surprised me how much they gave you. We ordered 2 chicken Tikka masalas, chicken biryani, and garlic and bullet nann. They also gave you a take out box full of rice for the Tikka masalas, which was extremely generous. This restaurant also did a great job at labeling the spice levels, and we got the Indian Spicy for all of the dishes, which turned out excellent since we both love spicy dishes. On top of that, the biryani (superb to say the least) and the tikka came in deep bowls with plenty of rice and sauce in the tikka. Lastly, they were extremely generous with their nann portions for the 3-4$ we paid. This was definetly one of my best Indian dining experiences!

The place (currently, perhaps) is "self-serve" --- meaning, there are places to sit and the decor is nice, with a couple of televisions (showing what appears to be Bollywood, which I thought was neat), and you can eat with friends and/or family, but you get a menu and go up to the counter to order. You then are given a plate and your food is brought out in trays. It isn't a place where a waiter or waitress takes your order and keeps refilling your drinks. I have no issue with that, but some go to a place to "be served", so keep that in mind. The food itself was very tasty, and I went with the "middle" spice option, as you get to choose your spice level, and it was quite nice and perfect for me. It was wonderful to try Indian cuisine and it was excellent! I love the variety of dishes and I also want to add that I love that so many different people from cultures are bringing/sharing some of their signature dishes in VA --- it's like sharing a part of your home and history. Looking forward to trying more dishes!I had the Pineapple Kesari (dessert) and the "Special Chicken" Biryani --- both excellent dishes! They are in the first photo (the photos may not display right unless the photos section is visited?). The Kesari was a sort of paste that had raisins and almond pieces and was nice and the Biryani was a tasty rice and curry chicken meal mixed with with herbs and a boiled egg!

When traveling through it’s a must stop for us. The fish biryani never disappoints. 5 ⭐️
