Walked in place is empty, one worker up front face timing with someone and listening to music on his phone. Worker didn't start making my pizza till 10 minutes after I came in. Nobody else was in shop before me. He only started making my slice when other people came in and ordered. Then he finally realized he didn't have sausage once he finally started putting pizza in the oven. Also overheard him talking to customers on phone saying he couldn't make a whole pie because the thing to take it out of oven was broken. When he finally told me they didn't have sausage he offered pepperoni but I'd wasted enough time by then and asked for a refund and to leave. Then he said he didn't know how to do a refund. Couldn't open the cash drawer. He had no problem opening it when I gave him my money at first. He said he'd been working here 4 months. Doesn't know how to do a refund in all that time. Also he nearly forgot to change his gloves between touching raw ingredients and finished pizza until the other customer warned him to do it. He said he called his manager to come. I said ask the manager how to open the cash drawer. He didn't talk to anyone on the phone so I asked him why. He texted apparently (group chat he said). Wasted so much time here horrible service. Manager ( said his name was Pasquale) finally came relatively quickly maybe 20 min- good for him. He opened cash drawer and gave me refund and listened to my complaints. Neither employee nor manager would give me the employee's name. Manager gave me a card with owner's contact info- tried calling and got a full voicemail box. Not impressed with this place, but to be fair I didn't even get to try the pizza since the service kept me away.

Really good large tasting pizza ? ?

Honestly, some of the best pizza I've ever had. My husband and I came in around 9pm and it was packed! There was a line out the door. It took some time to get our order, but everyone seemed willing and happy to wait.

Well my fiancee and I went over to Norfolk to try something new on New Year's and we definitely got that. We happened to stumble upon Benny's by accident and it turned out to be great. The pizzas were huge and we just purchased a couple slices but we definitely left there full.. I would recommend this place to any pizza ? lover.

pizza was cold very salty order our pizza for a 5 pm pick up got there and said it was not ready to wait we leave out come back and it was on top the stove waist of money 36.00 dollars later very dispointed. will never go there again big big waist of money

I called in a Pickup order tonight and was told my pizza would be ready in 30-35 minutes, this was at 5:05pm, I arrive at 5;40 and am told they couldn’t start my pizza until I got there and paid and it would be another 20 minutes. I waited there with my 2 year old who was very antsy and hungry until after 6:20 for my pizza!! An hour and 15 minutes after I ordered. Why would you take call in orders and give a time if you aren’t going to start it until I get there to pick it up. Not great service at all. The pizza is amazing and it’s our favorite pizza so this was really disappointing

Aw man. We didn’t even get to try the pizza. Myself, and 9 other members of my family wanted to grab a slice before Winterfest last night. We got there at 5. One girl was at the front. When we came in, she said “I gotta go to the bathroom.” TEN minutes later, she came back out. We are the only ones in there so they’re not busy. We ask for a large cheese pizza, she says “that’s gonna be at least an hour.” Well we couldn’t wait that long and the girl was rude, so we happily went to down to Granby st pizza which was awesome. I know places are short staffed and times are tough. I support local and, as a former waitress, understand how important it is to be patient. But this was beyond that. They clearly did not want our business and the girl working didn’t want us bothering her. We were really looking forward to trying this place, but we would never again go here. It was just an overall ridiculous situation and I’m surprised anyone can stay open doing business this way.

Hot Dam two slices about killed me and it would have been worth it

Biggest slice of pizza I have ever seen. The pizza slice is large and the flavor is there to match. I got to try the pepperoni, cheese, and Tarantino. All three were amazing with the Tarantino being my favorite. It had a perfect blend amount of cheese, chiken, bacon, and ranch. The pizza slices were hot and fresh.

You better be hungry when you pick up your slice of pizza. They take after the large N.Y. style slice.
