The food was really good but the waitress was very very very very lazy. It appears that she had an attitude when she walked up to the table and seemed annoyed that we had ordered cocktails and regular soda. We asked for a cherry Pepsi and she said they didn’t have cherry Pepsi but when I mentioned that they could just put a little grenadine from the bar in it she absolutely had no clue what I was talking about so my daughter’s birthday cherry Pepsi just couldn’t be handled. She ended up just getting a regular Pepsi. When I had finished my first cocktail I was ready for a refill but she was nowhere to be found and then my boyfriend finished his drink and she was nowhere to be found and then when the food was delivered we finally got a chance to ask for a refill and It still took another 15-29 minutes to get there. I work as a server myself so I understand when things are busy ,service is a little bit slow but it was definitely not busy and we were literally one of the only tables she had. In addition to my meal I had also ordered a side salad as a starter and it was brought out with my meal which is really no big deal but by that point I really just wanted to eat my meal and didn’t want to juggle eating a salad and my regular food. I was going To send my salad back because I wanted it as an appetizer but I figured since she was so annoyed that it would’ve just ben more trouble than what it was worth so I asked for a box to pack that up as well.The food was really good but definitely the wait staff or maybe the particular one that I had needs a little bit more training in sense of urgency. They should be trained to not walk up to a Four Top Rolling her eyes and acting irritated like I was interrupting something they were doing. This Applebee’s used to be one of my go to spots and I thought I would give it another chance. My daughter really looks forward to coming here on her birthday and this is the restaurant she requested so I was extremely disappointed in the service and not the food I hope that that can be improved on in the future so that way other people celebrating can have a much better experience than I did.
The Manger was a young black man very mannerable, professional but still had a personality! They were short on servers so he stepped up to serve us.... I'd come back just for him alone!
Whoever packed my bag and “checked it” with the initials TN, FAILED miserably. You did not check it at all!!! You packed our take out without someone elses food. You failed to put in anything we ordered except for the breadstick that came with the salad. I now have 2 angry toddler kids I have to figure out what to feed them for dinner at 8PM.
THIS IS A LETTUCE WRAP. THIS IS NOT A FAJITA CHICKEN WRAP. RIDICULOUS.I’m giving 2 stars because it was packaged nice, but I’d rather have a wrap with a decent amount of chicken than a nice bag and containers for my food. Will not order from again.
No bacon on our bacon burgers (my son & I). We sat at bar. She tried to get some from the kitchen and came back with "Sorry, the kitchen is out of bacon." Stuff happens, but at least offer us a discount on the non-bacon burger or something. The bacon burger costs more than the burger with no bacon. Customer service just isn't what it used to be.
So my group did show up around 9 something however it wasn’t too busy in there. I ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp wit the green beans. It was well seasoned however cooked a little too much. It was edible so I ate my food and still tipped cuz I’m not that person. But the chicken had a burnt flavor and some of the green beans were soft. I tend to like a good bite to them and a few had it but not all of them. Would I return, sure, could have been a short staffed night for the slow service for all I know. That’s why they got 4 stars instead of 3.
I ate at Applebee's tonight. I went because my client wanted to go. The lemonade was good, but tasted better after I added juice from fresh lemons. The fresh lemons helped to cut the sweetness. The food was too salty and I had to send it back. I guess the chef doesn't know that an abuse of salt is an addiction.
Overall good food and experience. They were so severely understaffed they only could open the bar area.There were only 5 tables filled snd we had to wait 15 min to sit down.My fries came out a little undercooked, but the burger and drinks were great. Highly recommend the mango and strawberry dak
The bartender was very attentive and friendly! Food was hot and delicious. Restaurant was clean.
Enjoyed my food and service. The steak was m indeed of tough but normally food is great and atmosphere is great.
